Came here after reading the great reviews from other Local Guides and have to say, it definitely stood up to their praise! One person recommended the Potato pizza, never had potatoes on pizza before, but I’ve heard of it, and it was delicious!! The staff was super friendly and all seemed like they really enjoyed their job. I also ordered a regular cheese pizza, cheesey bread, and their tap Mexican beer. Everything was super tasty! Easily the best pizza in Fargo, and North Dakota for that manner. If you’re in town, I highly recommend checking this place out. It’s in a hip little shop downtown, great location shopping after to walk all that pizza off.

Wonderful pizza. I liked how you are able to sit and watch them build the pizzas as well as their other dishes. We had the sausage apple pizza and it was amazing. I would have never thought about putting apples on my pizza.

Blackbird Wood Fired Pizza is great!! They have some interesting and unique pizzas which do not disappoint. The atmosphere and the building its in is very cool. I had the Blue Crush pizza and my friend did a design your own pizza. They have a nice selection of wines and craft beer on tap. The server I had was friendly and provided excellent service. I will definitely be back soon.

Took a trip to Fargo for farmers market they have on Saturdays in the summer-this day they had street fair going instead. This is our 3rd? time coming to Blackbird pizza and make it there on purpose as part of the trip. Family loves the pizza, neat atmosphere (notes stuffed in the nooks of wall), and great service! One major detail -Probably the best waitstaff (Nicole) of recent years of dining-Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable of both offering of food, drinks and community information! Way to go! We had a build your own Hawaiian, BLT pizza, cheese bread, some wine drink and a beer. I especially like drink options. We need to try other location-looks like some interesting pizza creation options.

Day trip to Fargo with some family and decided on Blackbird because of the great reviews. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff that offered to put 2 booths together for our group of 8. Waitstaff was excellent at describing the unique pizza combinations. Also mentioned a few “off menu” pizzas we could order. Went with the hummus, wedge salad, 3 specialty pizzas and one pepperoni for the kids. Ended the meal with 2 brownies (glad we did because they were soooo gooey good). Clean, quirky decor. Our only regret is that we didn’t try the Lumberjack. Next time!
