Not the best experience at Black Tap. I was super impressed with the menu when this place first opened but I’ve been back recently and many of the best menu items have been removed unfortunately. The pizza burger for sure was my favorite but it’s gone now. Perhaps it was for the best my partner got the Cali chicken sandwich and the chicken was over cooked and under seasoned. The sandwich was very sloppy/messy and hard to eat way too much aioli and the bun was cold. I got the blackbtap hot chicken sandwich and it was juicy and perfectly seasoned but horribly small maybe 4 or 4.5 oz. Also they forgot parsley which most people wouldn’t even notice but yall know I’m a self proclaimed “extreme foodie”. I did also order the teriyaki broccoli which i do recommend especially if you add chili oil to it. Also, we checked in on the cheerwine old fashioned and it was very disappointing, and the molded block ice tasted like a freezer, and thus, the entire cocktail tasted like a freezer. All in all, I would say this spot has fallen quite a ways from where it was when it first opened. I can’t recomend this spot over places like pharmacy burger, burger company, hododdy, jack browns or burger republic but if you’ve been to all those places (we can throw huhg baby’s and the stillery in there too) then give Black tap a shot. You won’t find a more expensive and less fulfilling burger anywhere else in Nashville.

This place is a must stop on your trip to Nashville! Their burgers and their salads are incredible!! Not to mention their house made lemonade and tea. Their flaming hot Cheetos salad was the best salad I’ve ever had! The flavors were phenomenal! A+++++

The first burger place where I would say the burgers are almost too experimental. Usually burgers are no holds barred for me, but the combination of flavors just didn’t sit entirely right with me. Maybe just too much jalapeno.

Had the waygu burger and it is award winning with the favor. Just 1 glass of martini gave me the giggles. Highly recommend getting reservations as people who tried to walk in was being turned away as this place was jam packed. There is no valet you will have to pay for parking just a foot note. However; we will be returning.

Oh my goodness the experience was awesome!!!! Service was amazing! Jaylen our server was phenomenal. Mike’s crew is by far the best in Nashville! Food was great, shake was delicious, burger was the best I’ve ever had!!!! Great, great experience!!!! We will be back. I recently went here for the first time with a friend and it’s was great. We ordered the fried pickles, the wagyu salad, and the hamburger salad, along with a couple beers and a birthday cake shot. Maegan our server was awesome and the wagyu salad was way better than I would have expected. Definitely recommending this place to friends and we will certainly be back.

My God. This burger was amazing! My husband loves his burger as well and my son had the wings and said they were awesome. Loved the atmosphere, everyone was really nice. Wanted a shake, but didn’t have room in my stomach for one. They looked so good as well.
