Skip the Starbucks and hit up Black Hawk Bean & Cream! I was camping in the Central City area but needed to do a little work and stumbled upon this little Cafe! Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. Made fresh right there, the tray had just come out of the oven. So soft and delicious and gravy had just the right amount of kind to make it perfectly flavorful. Also ordered a caramel macchiato that was outstanding. My wife got a gluten free sausage egg sandwich and said it was excellent. Owners are friendly – feels like a small town cafe where you are greeted as family. Highly recommend!

When you want a delicious snack, meal, or sweet treat after hours of spinning slot machines, this is the place to be! Very dog friendly and great area to sit outside and relax and eat. The chef made us custom pup cups with a sliver of bacon for our dogs and the food was incredible!!!! The bacon mac and cheese is to die for! It’s a must have every time I go to the hills to gamble. Staff is super friendly and definitely know what they’re doing!!!! ☆☆☆☆☆ five stars for sure!

What a great find! We were in town for the Central City Beerfest and looking for a mom and pops coffee shop. Service was excellent! Egg sandwiches and coffee was fantastic and the best biscuits and gravy we’ve had out in a long time! Thanks guys!

Went there this morning and was so excited to try the local small coffee shop. Our bacon burritos had almost no bacon, and the lady behind the counter was just about the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in the customer service industry. She kept freaking out on my boyfriend and I because we weren’t sure which order was ours, we did not touch the food we just looked at the order on the counter like everyone else. We were then greeted with an aggressive tone telling us that wasn’t our food. Taking down a name or having a number system would be much more efficient. She was the rudest person ever. I feel bad for anyone who has to come in contact with her. Not a good way to start the morning. Will not go again.

This was my favorite place to eat on our weekend to the Boulder/Denver/BH area. No pretention, just good food and reasonable prices. By far my favorite employee was Deuce, who came to check on us frequently to make sure we were enjoying our food and coffee.

This place really surprised me. It was a little underwhelming from the outside, but DO NOT let that fool you. The Ice cream choices were AMAZING and really packed with flavor! The coffee was really good too! I got a Caramel Macchiato and it had the perfect balance of all ingredients. I would definitely recommend anyone who’s in the area to stop by for a quick snack, coffee, or food. They have it all.

Great breakfast sandwich, good coffee, friendly service, easy access location, what more do you want? Oh yeah, they also have great ice cream! I’ve stopped here several times and I’ve always been glad I did. Best little shop in the area for what they have. Worth your time to pull off the road here.
