I searched for the best BBQ in the McAllen area, and Black Diamond BBQ showed up on the top results. I decided to give them a try, and the food was delicious! I recommend ordering the two meat plate (brisket and pulled pork) and the two sides of macaroni and cheese/mashed potatoes. The employees also had great customer service.

This little gem was quaint inside with a totally hometown feel. Talk about meat… the brisket was outstanding and slow cooked to perfection. The sausage, ribs and chicken looked amazing. I went with the chicken which was super smoky and bursting with goodness. The peach cobbler with ice cream was tasty and was the perfect place for a super bbq lunch

Came by for lunch with coworkers. It was our first time here and the ladies were very nice. The brisket was delicious and moist. I loved their baked potato casserole! The mac and cheese was also good. I will definitely go again when i’m by the area.
