This is one of the best burger / fries I have ever had and one of my all time favorite spots in Portland. The milkshakes are out of this world. I highly recommend the dirty sauce. Never a bad experience! The staff is super friendly and the bartender was super cool and told me all the history of the unique building as well!

I loved the restaurant layout, the atmosphere had a chill vibe to it and the staff was polite. No issues with the service and the food was tasty. I absolutely love the location, with the outside dining being connected to the park. The cost is right in line with the other restaurants on the same block. A definite must visit on a Friday or a Saturday, I’m guessing it’s a real party on those days, seeing how I was there on Wednesday.

Black Cow is hands down, one of the best burger joints in the city! As soon as I walked in, I was hit with the mouth-watering aroma of juicy burgers sizzling on the grill. My eyes were immediately drawn to the menu, which featured a mouthwatering array of options.

Our favorite drinks of the weekend- we were pleasantly surprised! We had burgers and fries here last summer and were hoping to get some poutine during the storm. Bummed that they were out once we were seated but that does not take away from the delicious drinks and kind bartender.

Pretty delicious food. I went out with my friends on a busy Saturday night. Our fries were crispy and well cooked. We ordered a table portion. Tons of salt, though. They provided us a few different sauces that went along with the fries. We enjoyed our burgers. Mine was a mushroom swiss burger. I added bacon, and my 3 friends other friends order the same thing. We all enjoyed it. My other friend did not like his veggie sandwich. Our other friend enjoyed his cheeseburger. The service was on point. Service and the burger were the highlight of this experience.

Cute little place. Food was good. Big projector screen in the back room. The was a shelf with a bunch of games, and a room with a TV and game systems. A smaller menu for food and drinks than was expecting, but it was still yummy. The restaurant was clean. We went on a Friday night around 5, and it was slightly busy, but we didn’t have to wait.

Saw this on the map of downtown Portland and took a chance for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. The veggie burger is made in-house with a lentil base, not some frozen pre-made patty. The brussel sprouts are fantastic and I think the best I’ve had to date. Those around me seemed to enjoy their food and cleaned their plates. It seemed pretty family friendly (parents with kids on a festival weekend) and the noise level was not overpowering. Wait staff were all very nice and attentive, I think my server’s name was Ella. Definitely recommend this place and I will be back.

Perfectly ‘meh.’ Wouldn’t call it bad, but certainly nothing worth writing home about. Flavors didn’t really stand out and fries very greasy. The way they delivered food was very weird and inconvenient; we were a group of 7 and they brought all of our burgers out on one tray and left it to us to figure out who’s was who’s. Service was slow. Didn’t leave hungry or feeling disappointed but nothing memorable.
