Dinner was fine. Service was good. Nothing exciting.

okay so at first glance, this place looks like a simple deli-esque bistro, but it more than meets the eye!

The food and service were amazing! Highly recommend the scallops and the Brussels sprouts as well as the flatiron steak and the ahi tuna was perfectly cooked.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! The ambiance was perfect with great music and a cozy atmosphere, especially with the fireplace. I couldn’t get enough of their incredible polenta, and the salmon was equally delicious. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed here!

Great place for a nice, adult dinner out. We reserved our table ahead of time so we didn’t wait at all. The service was really good. My fiancé wasn’t sure which wine to order because there were so many but our server was really helpful and gave him a few options to try. We got the Brussel sprouts and quail appetizers and they were both so good. I ordered the ribeye steak and he got the lamb shank. This was the best steak I have ever had, tender with some good searing and amazing flavor. He really liked the lamb, it was falling off the bone with a great sauce on top. I would definitely recommend this place but not if you have kids with you. Honestly toward the end someone brought their crying kid in and that was kind of annoying since the place is small.

I’ve been coming here off and on for 15 years. Spent my 30th birthday here, first anniversary, many birthdays, and now tonight was the last. I’m so disappointed the quality has gone way down. My husband got the pork chop and it was drenched in sauce on his plate. Not what you would expect from fine dining. I had the chicken picatta and it was so nasty. It was breaded and SOGGY in that. The sauce was awful. The chicken was dry inside. And then the jasmine rice had stuff in it that killed the taste. Was so bad and killed the mood we did not even stay for dessert. They did take the meal off the bill without ask but honestly even the waiter could have done a much better job. It sucks. Don’t plan to be back.

Very slow service and variable food. I would say it was not worth the price. They brought out some wonderful fresh bread with just about a tablespoon of butter for 3 people. I do not recommend eating here.

We came here for our anniversary on a recommendation, and honestly we were a little disappointed. We were expecting a romantic atmosphere, and the first thing I noticed was huge sheets of white butcher paper on top of every table. I felt like the servers should be handing out crayons like we were at a Chevy’s. It didn’t make for a very comfortable dining experience. We got 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and a dessert. The mushroom gnocchi appetizer was delicious. The fried olives were fine (not as good as others we’ve had). I got the duck with risotto and bok choy, and it was sadly very bland. You wouldn’t think a duck risotto would be bland, so that was quite disappointing. My partner got the baked polenta and enjoyed it. We got the lemon cake and it was, luckily, amazing. However, my partner noted in our reservation that it was for our anniversary (reservation asks if it is for a special event), but then there was no mention of the occasion during our meal. Usually they will put a candle in the dessert or something else to signify the event, but they did nothing. Not sure why they would ask if we are having a special event if they didn’t plan to acknowledge it in some way. By the way, skip the butcher paper to protect the white table cloths and just get black table cloths. It matches the black cat theme anyway, and it’s a lot classier.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! Had the special’s cauliflower and cheese soup and Halibut with miso and beurre blanc and the Quail starter yummm. And a fantastic bottle of wine. Great Services’s. Must have the clam chowder next time.

The crowd here was parochial, but that’s not the restaurants fault;) Cambria is a special place and so is the Black Cat. Excellent service & I was able to get a reservation the same day.I had an excellent Noir, Nielsen Santa Maria, and the shrimp linguini was excellent.
