Good food. Gives a more fast food than a sit-down ambiance. Good portions. Chips come as a side (like fries). The chips are better, warm, salted well. Salsa has a good kick. Fyi, cilantro is your friend. Queso is more thin than I am used to. It is like a better Chipotle.

This was our second time dining in at Black Bear. It was packed as usual. The only thing I noticed was not enough meat in bowls and burritos. The ice tea was empty so we had to go for a soft drink, no one filled in the tea machine. I know it’s a busy restaurant, but you have to maintain the quality.

My son and I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before the basketball game and decided to try the Black Bear. We ordered chips and salsa for the appetizer and it was pretty good, but very bland. He had the kids burrito with steak and I had the build your own burrito. I ordered it with rice, chicken, peppers, onions, cheese, beans and salsa. The taste was pretty good, but the inside was almost all beans. If you want to grab a quick bite, try it out. I’m not sure I will go back though.

This place is the bomb. When visiting Morgantown we asked the townies where they would recommend eating, they all said this place. They were definitely correct. The food is magnificent, there are so many beers available (try a beer flight, or two or three), nice and cozy place. Been there twice already and plan on many more meals here.

This is a vegetarian’s delight. The range of choices with easy online ordering makes this a great choice for lunch or dinner. All 3 of our burritos were excellent if not a little too big as we all had leftovers for the next day. We ordered carryout so I don’t know what the dining in experience is like but pick up was quick and easy. Great place to stop before a Mountaineers game! Let’s go!

Always good food but check the weekly special first – those can be really interesting. If the special doesn’t sound good I go for the Irie Member, a jerk-seasoned burrito with your choice of protein. Throw in their great beer list with pretty frequent rotation AND the very reasonable prices and I could eat here every week. I nearly do…

My husband and I love the food here but I could never recommend a dine-in experience. The last 3 times we’ve come the service has been absolutely terrible with the meals coming out 20 minutes apart or incredibly delayed. We’ll continue to frequent small biz but the service here has materially gone downhill recently and we won’t be back.

The food was very good. The staff was very nice. The craft beer selection was great. Only thing to be aware of is that it is you place your order and pay at the counter, then they bring it to you, and they clean up the table afterwards. If you have never been you wouldn’t know that. Other than that, great place!
