Our order apparently got lost. We waited 20 minutes longer than the table behind us and we ordered before them. Either that or our waitress forgot to submit our order. They said it was a busy night and there were lots of big parties. Well if that’s the case don’t go there with a date. I will say the waitress got our order right and the food was good. Seems if you are gonna have all of these tables you should be able to serve them. We got medium rare prime rib, broccoli and mashed potatoes. Just slice the damn roast and put it on the plate! Also if you use a wheelchair you better hope one of the two handicap spots are open. Because none of the curbs have ramps. The only way in is up the ramp at the handicap parking spots. For me I don’t live near this restaurant and when I’m in this area I’m not going here.

The thing that impressed me was the good service. Great steak, courteous staff and a clean environment. Kimberly, our waitress, was attentive to our needs. She made my husband and I feel welcome with her outgoing and perky personality. The food completely exceeded our expectation and I was really pleasantly surprised. The food was weak at best. They were out of some of the selection. The temperature and texture of the meat was off. I expected a bit more for the price paid at least in the quality. The service was great the environment was dark and kinda dingy. The previous time we ate their was a much better experience.

I do no know why this place has so many stars.service is extremely slow. Food is mediocre. Maybe because it’s the only steak restaurant in town. Dennys could have been better for less. Ate in the dining room. The waitress we had both times 3 weeks later for some reason. She had no clue about the product she was selling and seemed disinterested in being there; never smiled and was not upbeat and friendly. The layout of the restaurant is weird and like a walled maze. Very closed off. The bar is probably the best part of the place and is lively. However, my cocktail tasted very watered down not just in an alcohol way. Flavorless.

Usually we have great service and food tonight was the Exception filet was tough and overdone plates were hot like they had been under heat lamps for awhile. Service was horrible we had to ask for our check 4 times we had finished our meal at least 45 min prior. Then we waited another 20 min for waiter who never showed to take our payment finally we had to take it up front and ask for someone to ring us up. We almost left without paying. We were told oh your waiter had a large party while there were 2 hostesses manager and a waiter standing up front chatting. We are regulars but tonight has us rethinking our restaurant choices.

I recently went to Black Angus in Vallejo California for a Mother’s Day brunch with my mom, aunt and cousins. It was a lovely experience. We had reservations and of course we were running late, I called and let them know we be running behind and they had no problem accommodating our tardiness. We got there and we were taken back to our table right away which was set and prepared for our party size. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. And the wait staff was excellent! They were well-versed in the menu they were very thoughtful at how they waited on our table they weren’t checking on his every 5 minutes but they didn’t abandon us either. The food was delicious I will definitely be back.
