Took my wife here, at her request, for her birthday on a Monday. I had made a reservation but it was not necessary due to minimal customers present. Our server was Kristen, who was attentive. I ordered a beer and my wife ordered vodka & cranberry. Beer was lukewarm (but I didn’t complain cuz waitress was busy and it was my wife’s bday). Wife did mention that her drink tasted like cranberry juice and melted ice. We were asked if we wanted bread and butter, which was served in a very small cold portion. We ordered the campfire feast for two. My chicken and ribs were perfectly cooked with the broccoli too al dente for me. The au gratin potatoes were good but very small portion. My Wife had filet mignon, which looked liked a charred sirloin that had been over cooked and was dry. Server was very busy and seemed stretched a bit too far with assigned customers so we didn’t complain. The way our food was cooked seemed a bit inconsistent and not as requested. But again, no complaints because it was wife’s bday and she feared she would not receive her food if she sent back to the kitchen. Place was not very crowded but got busy as the evening progressed. Bar area seemed a bit empty. Total for two with drinks and food was $78.93, plus on your receipt they have “recommended” gratuity calculations, which I don’t appreciate. I am a good tipper and don’t need direction or instruction. Since my wife’s favorite cut is filet mignon and she was not happy with the dry charred piece she received, I’m not certain we will return due to her disappointment.

The BOGO they’re currently offering is an awesome deal but only for dine-in. We were surprised to find they also offered BOGO at Uber Eats as well for steak and crispy shrimp. It comes with 2 sides, we opted for au gratin potatoes and wedges. Surprised to see them included a bun as it was extra on the app. Food was good, my steak was on chewy side – lots of tendon unfortunately. The food were well packaged but too many containers, personally I don’t mind them consolidating to reduce the amount of containers

Food was really good, service was also good. Campfire deal was a great value including 2 dinners, an appetizer, and desert. The bathrooms needed some work. No toilet paper in any stall and there was a great deal of water on the floor.

Waiter seemed spaced out. Didn’t bring my wife’s salad until he was reminded by me. Then entree was served a minute later. We asked for more butter that never came. He never came by to check on us.

We went on Father’s Day and had a nice dinner. Our server Mario was friendly and even though it was busy that night, he never lost his cool. My dad’s filet mignon was tasty and my prime rib was generously cut and cooked perfectly.

The beer I ordered was forgotten, left sitting on some counter top somewhere, tasted flat, the second was good. I didn’t complain, the wait staff should have known and replaced it without me having to complain.

Not worth the $72 plus $10 tip we left. Not to mention we used the Campfire Coupon. The steak was thin. Used to be thick and juicy. I could’ve bought the same steak from Ralphs and made it myself. I’d come here because the steak used to be so good. Not anymore. The Sampler Platter was the best thing we ate on the table. I’ll give them a little bit of credit because the steak might have been small due to the shipping issue going on in Long Beach right now? I don’t know but it was not worth $82 total.

Not sure why this Black Angus has changed drastically since our last visit but was not the service we have become accustomed to over the years. Service was so very slow and not quite on it. The 1st waitress that started waiting on us was not very polite and the 2nd one was very sweet but it was like we were not there most of the time. Coffee ran cold n dry and had to keep asking for things. Never brought one of the items and what we thought would be an hour lunch turned into over 2 hrs. Too many mistakes and they needed to pay more attention to customers. Hope this turns around as I have always given 5 star reviews but could not this time.

Love the 2 dinner deal they have we always upgrade to the sampler. Everytime we go they have been having live music so it’s a nice vibe. We love the creme Brulee dessert!
