Authentic, southern soul, food! Good home cooking. Very friendly. We had Fried chicken, butter, beans, turnip greens, macaroni and cheese and rice with gravy all of it was delicious!! Nice big portions:)

For two weeks in a row we’ve tried to go to BJ’s diner. Last week, we showed up an hour and a half before closing time. BJ was sitting at a table with patrons, and there were several patrons in the place. She waved us off and told us she was out of food. We tried again today at 3:00 p.m. The website says they are open until 7:00. The sign on the door says close and all the lights are off. What’s up? As you can see, we made a five-star review last year when we went for the first time. A year later, we drove out of our way twice only to be disappointed. If you’re not going to be there, post it! It sucks to drive an hour out of your way and not be able to have a meal you were looking forward to.

Super tasty and incredible price. Worth driving the few extra minutes off the highway to get some local Georgia home cookin’! Definitely will be back to get that Fried Chicken on future trips between Atlanta and Jacksonville.

Miss. B.J will stop and speak to you if you have a question about anything. She cares about all of her customers and takes the time to talk. She is a very sweet and caring Woman, she may be busy but if you have time hold on and she will speak to you. Her food is very good, and the ppl that work for her are nice as well. If you have a problem you can go to Miss B. J and I am sure that she would make it right. I have not had a problem but I think I know what she would do. Stop by and get yourself a good home-cooked meal.
