The food at BJ Buffet Conyers was bland; my guess is because some people have a sodium restricted diet the restaurant chooses not to use much seasoning. I got Salmon Patties, Fried Chicken, Pork, Macaroni & Cheese, Collard Greens and Cabbage. The Mac & Cheese seem to only have cheese on the top (none within) so I added cheese and pepper to it when I got home. The other food tasted like it didn’t have any season on it, but I didn’t add any salt/season to it because the Salmon Patties were so salty I didn’t want more salt to the meal.

What a gem of a find. Great country cooking . Fresh everyday. While items are limited they are fresh and cooked beautiful. The lemon pound cake is to die for. Fried chicken and chicken livers are devine. Great service Angie and Pinky are awesome . The prices are even better..go visit.

This was on Friday Aug. 8th at around 6pm. I had fried fish (ok), Salmon patties (not good), along with Chicken and Dumplings (BAD) with NO Dumplings and almost choked on Chicken bone still in the meat. Should have been called Chicken in yellow Goo. Service was so bad that I left no tip. She (Layla) came to the table once just to give me the check. I had to get her when I had a question and when I almost choked. When I asked for the owner or Manager, she informed me there was none. Worst time at an eating establishment I have ever had. The Senior Server was very nice and showed concern, unlike the other one. I probably won’t go back, and to others I say be careful and inform them you do NOT want Layla. The first visit a couple of weeks before was good, but this one was so bad that after reading reviews it must have been a fluke and I lucked out the first time. Give it a try, but be warned. I gave 5 Stars first visit (lucky night).

Decent spot for buffet…fried chicken and ribs were good. Chicken and dumplings with no dumplings tasted decent. Green beans and potatoes and Macaroni and cheese were good too… Service was decent until we felt rushed at closing time. Popcorn shrimp should have been left off the menu…Heard the fried fish was good…oh yeah it’s cheap by the way!!! $12 for adults

I visited this location two days in a row just to make sure they they weren’t having a bad day. The food was awful! Unfortunately, it was consistent both days. I decided to get a vegetable plate on both visits. I got the green beans, (bland, and just ok), the macaroni and cheese (mostly macaroni and not enough cheese), greens (no seasoning, taste like they came from a frozen bag).

1star was the lowest I can give. The fried chicken was cooked in old grease . Baked chicken not cooked well done and just salty. Meatloaf taste like how dog food smells. I will not return.
