Came into town for a wedding and hand lunch at the bar. Bar seats are very comfortable with full service counter. French onion soup was impressive with a good Parmesan crisp and soaked croutons. Also got the goat cheese salad (added chicken) and jambalaya (not too spicy).

Wayy overrated .. this restaurant doesn’t deserve a 4.5 rating; not when you are charging $35++ for an overcooked salmon. And definitely not when still insist that it’s medium rare when I asked about it. See the picture/video below, is that medium rare to you??!

Was in Lenox to see a show at Tanglewood and wanted to have a nice dinner prior, for my wife’s Birthday. What a gem Bistro Zinc is! Very cozy, chic atmosphere. Our server was excellent! The food was superb. The Short-Rib Dumplings were a great start. I had the Jambalaya and my wife had the Salmon, both fantastic! The Crème Brûlée was to die for! Definitely a top restaurant in the area and worth a visit. I would recommend reservations too!

The mixed drink list / not that exciting but they have a full bar and beer on tap. The store bought baguette so/so. The server said they ran out of 2 entries at the start of the meal. We ordered the Tuna tartare and bib salad. Very tasty and served nicely. Unfortunately down hill from there. I ordered a pasta with burrata cheese. Just before the entries arrived. The severe said they ran out burrata cheese (that’s what makes the dish) so I opted for fresh mozzarella. They dropped 3 cold pieces of mozzarella on top of my pasta. Not cool or good. The server did take the dish off the bill but I did not eat dinner.

I got the steak frites for $25. The fries were tasty, but the steak was sliced like that to look bigger and had tons of fat. I ended up not being able to eat half of it because of fat and gristle. Been here before and had a better experience, this wasn’t up to par

Buccatini and burger were overcooked (see pics). Burger burnt. Short rib dumplings and ginger au jus sauce were dry and mediocre at best, especially for price. Barbera wine was worth it. Asked many times for water and didn’t get it. Ghosted by bartender. At the 99 one gets water with lemon. Mixed drinks and everything else way overpriced. Sophisticated cried seemed to enjoy it. Great conversation with other patrons. Worst meal I’ve had on a long time and I review many upscale restaurants. Glad to be home. Terrible date night (See pics). Oh yeah, burger was supposed to be medium rare.

Lucky to get in here for a dinner. Food and wines are supper. Service was also very good. No outdoor seating but they had all the windows open so that’s helpful. We ordered fish this time and they are very fresh. Make sure you tell them not to over cook the fish. I requested my salmon not to be over cooked and it’s borderline almost done too hard / overcooked. But overall we had a great time and would love to come back if we are in Tanglewood area again.

We just left here. Our waiter was Frank and he was amazing! Very sociable and felt like we’ve known him for a long time. The food was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like about this place was how close the tables were. Thankfully it wasn’t crowded. Other than that, I will definitely be going back. This was our meal and it was on point. Cooked perfectly and melted in our mouths. Frank was helpful with teaching me about wines as well. He personally wrote his favorite down, to have me try at some point. (I’m not knowledgeable on wines. I didn’t feel uncomfortable when speaking to him about it either.) I can’t say enough good things. Great job and thank you Frank for helping us.
