It’s the most authentic Chinese restaurant we have been to in LA area. The food portions are smaller than I’d like for the high-end price. But they server good food and I love the dessert. They still taste good overnight.

If you are in the waiting area, you definitely won’t think it’s got the grand open area seating decked out in traditional Chinese furnishings.

Food is average for the price. Order the short ribs for $68… I think, flavor less, and I can taste that it’s been sitting in the fridge for some time. The most expensive and worse dish of the night. The rest of the dishes are good… But not enough for me to want to go back for. The desserts were pretty good. Also, there was 7 of us, so they default a 20% tip on the bill which I thought it’s more than any restaurant default tip I’ve been to. And considered the tip/price… When they drop off the food… There’s not even an explanation of the food. Till today, I still haven’t figure out what was the 2 sauces that came with the short ribs and what we’re the desserts I ate.

We were very reluctant to try Bistro Na’s due to lots of bad reviews and people saying the food is just ok or very expensive. Well for us it was the most authentic Chinese restaurant we have been in Los Angeles area. We are very picky and have a standard for Chinese cuisine. Bistro Na’s offers a Chinese cuisine which isn’t greasy and high quality dishes with flavors. If you want to try the real cuisine then go to eat there it won’t be a disappointment. Forget about Panda Express or any other so called Chinese restaurants this is not the authentic flavor.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve experienced in the US. It is a branch of a Beijing based restaurant Na Jia Xiao Guan (the Chinese name of the restaurant). While it is “Imperial Cuisine” it is quite accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Venue, presentation, and service is very on point and on par with high-end restaurants in China (I lived in Beijing and Shanghai for 4 years as an expat). Food quality is great. The non-banquet menu was just 2 pages, which seems less than most restaurants but there are plenty of amazing dishes on the menu to choose from. Our last meal for 10:

Worth the experience. We went for a Saturday lunch with a party of four. We were able to get seated after about a 5 minute wait without reservation. This place serves Beijing cuisine. We ordered the sour cabbage pork belly pot and sea bass. The dishes were flavorful, and yet, not overly greasy like your typical American Chinese restaurants. The pork belly pot is enough o feed 5, 6 people, so portion accordingly.

Great, but pricey.

Food is definitely average at best. A simple fried rice without wok hei speaks for the chef… Absolutely no fragrance

Great quality and special of food. Unfortunately, customer service…. I can only give 3 stars to the maitre d. Otherwise waitresses and busboy are so friendly. Definitely I will go back to try some other food.

Generally decent restaurant though pricy. This place is very popular so good to reserve online in advance.
