Had a fantastic dinner! Super friendly service despite being extremely busy, tasty cocktails, lovely patio right in the heart of OC, and the food… THE FOOD! 4 of us for dinner with all different sandwiches/entrees and we enjoyed it all. Super tasty and reasonably priced. The owner stopped by as he was checking all of the tables and was very genuine in his appreciation. I think we found a new favorite date night spot!

Always on the lookout for a topnotch Cubano and Bistro Cubano did not disappoint! By far, the best I’ve had since moving from the East Coast. Everything about it was spot on, from the bread to the ham and the pork to the pickle! Staff was super friendly and helpful in answering questions. Unfortunately, didn’t get a pic of the sandwich before diving in but we did order dessert (which we rarely do), the Plantain Cuban Split Absolutely delicious! OC is quite a drive for us, but we’ll be back!

This place is definitely worth returning for at least 25 menu items. Kelly was a great server and secured my left credit card which took me a few minutes to realize that I walked out without. I haven’t had plantains that good since 2017 in San Raphael at a Puerto Rican restaurant. The Cuban sandwich was the best I’ve had since the last time I was on the south side of Miami. We used to have a specialty Cuban shop in the AVL near Pisgah View Apts that had the best Cuban ownership. This place is relatively a higher end experience with delicious cuts and sides. Go here if you are a foodie and enjoy being around quality folks. They fly a Venezuelan flag as well as Cuba’s. That’s fine by me. I’m a huge Ronald Acuna Jr. Fan as well.

It was the wife and I first time at this hole in the wall restaurant in downtown Oregon city. We loved it. The wife ordered the Havana burger and I had the Devilish Cubano. The meal was great we will tell our friends and keep coming back. You got to try the coleslaw I’ve always found K.F.C. coleslaw to be the best. Well I found a coleslaw that ranks number 1. Keep up the good work. We love your restaurant♥️♥️

Try the seasonal pineapple mojito, it’s a vacation in a glass.

Dropped by for lunch on a Sunday and really enjoyed the food. My husband got the classic Cuban sandwich and said it was really good. I can vouch for the fries. I got the island bowl, vegetarian with smoky sliced portobello mushrooms and loved that. Wonderful flavors and textures in the bowl. Definitely put the bistro on our list of places to pop by. We enjoyed the fact it wasn’t overly busy and quiet enough to converse. They do offer brunch on Sunday.

Great staff, full flavor food that you won’t find anywhere else, and great location. This is the island bowl and it is gluten free! You get a little bit of everything packed with flavor and it if filling so come hungry.
