This is a small little diner with a big flavor punch. the environment is not much to talk about, but the food is worth going back for. Anytime I’m in Lake Charles and looking for a breakfast spot or brunch, this is the place I’m going. The F biscuit was a nice choice, I’ll be back.

BJ Hash and Sloppy Biscuit were amazing!!! So delicious! Make sure to get the 7 Pepper Jam! It’s sweet with some heat! Excellent wait staff, super friendly. Get there before the rush, this place is tiny.

Very good food! Loved, loved the shrimp and grits! Small place, worth visiting. There home made biscuits & jam are very good…there menu offers your taste buds a different experience. Owners were working hard and trying to please the mix crowd.

This was the BEST food I’ve had here in SWLA and a friendly service. The food was beautiful and perfect as was the hospitality. Our new favorite place.

This place is an absolute must try! I saw it on TikTok and stopped by when we were in town. It’s off the beaten path and with limited seating and a packed house, our family of 7 opted to get food to-go and eat in the car. After a 45 minute wait, I can say I would hands-down do it all over again. The employees were incredibly friendly and the owner threw in some sweet potato bread pudding, drinks, and an assortment of jams for us to try. Everything was completely fabulous but the shrimp and grits (with fried shrimp and bacon) and the banana pecan pancakes were to die for. I ordered a salmon croquette on the side because I wanted to try it without ordering the entire Benedict and I wish I had more of them. I’d recommend going early so you get a spot but if there’s a wait, it’ll be worth every minute. We will absolutely be back!

Stopped by today for the first time. It will not be the last! The reviews on Google are true! This place is excellent! The food was amazing. Had the Sloppy Biscuits and Banana pecan pancakes! Pancakes were so fluffy, you could lay your head on them! Gravy on the biscuits had grilled onions, bell peppers and jalapeños chopped up with it. Simply excellent! Jam is homemade. Can’t wait to comeback.

It’s a hole in the wall in North Lake Charles with about 6 tables. The ladies were welcoming and prompt to offer drinks upon sitting. I ordered the Katlyn( red velvet waffles w/fried shrimp and bacon) it’s for those who like savory. It was different but I appreciated it. It was something different. They’re expanding into the other half of the building so go try ’em out!

Treated like family from the moment we walked in, seated right away, and hot coffee brought to our table in less than a minute! Great variety of home cooked meals that will definitely bring you back! This will now be a go-to spot for us… I Highly recommend!!!

The best biscuit I’ve had in my life for sure. Best grits I’ve ever had, pancakes were super good as well as the eggs and sausage! Our waitress Marylin was very friendly and recommended us to try the bread pudding and it’s one of a kind flavor that will forever set the expectations of all other puddings to come. If I’m ever in the area I’ll be sure it’s to stop by again even if it means a couple hours of driving
