My new favorite breakfast spot! Incredible biscuits, awesome gravy! The staff was super friendly and helpful. When your guests from out of town want something non chain and delicious, this is the spot! I got the AK

We loved the savory and sweet flavors. We had the Benny(& the Jets), Nuttin Compares, and American Pie and they were all very good! Coffee is good too.

We are so glad that we stopped at this restaurant during our short stay in Anchorage! The food was flavorful – biscuits were nice and crisp on the outside, but soft on the inside. Our family ordered Straight Up, Biscuit Sandwich, and the AK, plus a side biscuit with strawberry jam. It’s a small establishment with a staff of three and food is made to order, so I would expect a small wait if they are busy. We arrived just after they opened, so our food came out fast. Seating is in an open hallway area – very clean and airy. The ONLY negative is the access to the restaurant is down the stairs around the back of the building. If I were planning another trip to Anchorage, I would include this as a breakfast stop!! Happy to support a local, woman owned business!

Edible, but not great. I definitely wouldn’t pay another $50+ to eat here and wouldn’t recommend it, but it wasn’t awful. The biscuits were more like bread than biscuits. It was ok, but I definitely won’t be going back here. Staff was friendly.

We were visiting from out of town, and a local walking by us recommended this place. It is out of the way, and I am sure we would not have found it on our own. But it was well worth the trip! Great homemade biscuits and breakfast sandwiches- and great service!

Allow me to introduce you all to THE BENNY. A wonderful, fluffy, biscuit seated in a bed of gravy all the while covered in chunks of bacon and a scrambled egg. It’s worth the wait. The customer service is phenomenal. The two ladies greet you with a warm smile, friendly hello, and rapid service. If your in search of a good breakfast spot, stop by.

In gonna start off with saying that this is the best biscuit and gravy place in town!!! Upon recommendation I ordered the Benny biscuits and gravy with a scrambled egg and bacon. Plus I ordered a mocha. The flavor in the biscuits and gravy is amazing! Bacon was crisp. Eggs were cooked just right. The gravy actually had flavor and unlike other restaurants didn’t taste like straight flour. I ordered it to go and once I got home after 15 minute drive the biscuit was still fluffy and not all soggy.
