The food is excellent. I’ve recommended it to everyone who is looking for awesome Birria tacos.

It’s champurrado time in Tucson! Winter seems to be upon us early here and nothing hits the spot on a cold day like a cup of hot and thick cinnamon chocolate goodness! The bean burros here are also really flavorful.

Not many veggie or kosher options, but had the green corn tamales and fish tacos. Very tasty for what I had, but not exactly great since these were the only things I could get.

I took my mom for lunch today. They only tell you no cash after you order. They have a sign but there are so many signs it’s easy to miss.. I came back with cash and we ordered the Birria tacos, carne asada tacos and tamale. The tamale was cold. They serve lettuce with their tacos which is so not a traditional taco ( from how I raised here in Tucson). The Carne asada almost had a fishy taste due to being old. It was dry no flavor and the entire taco was cold. The corn tortillas were yellow corn and tasted like cardboard. We immediately took a bite each and packed up the food and drove 12 minutes to El Guero Canelo on Oracle and Grant. Hands down the best decision this afternoon. Skip this taco shop and go anywhere but here.

Food was good, portions good, birria tacos were good, but they don’t fry the outside like the really good ones, no quesabirria. Nice mom and pop that’s been there forever.

Food was fire. Front cashier had a horrible attitude, just asking for lemons . ‍♂️. Sry to bother ya. But birria wasn’t bad at all.

I wanted some menudo while in Tucson. Of course I did a search and a few places came up. I went and took a chance on this place. It ended up being a good decision. Menudo was good. Not slot of meat in the plate so got though. Corn tortillas were hand made. Aguas frescas were made by hand. We had the Jamaica and horchata. They were a little bit sweetend, not too bad. We had the birrias also. Good tasting. Kids had the asada burritos kinda on the smaller size with a serving of frijoles.

I had been looking for this place for almost 2 yrs!! I finally found it. Tacos are amazing, and birria is too. Price can seem a lil bit too expensive but i think is worth the taste. Is definitely delicious. Must try. Only problem is that is CASH ONLY.
