This place has has gone down over time. We came for a quick bite and I was excited to show the place off but when we got our food the sandwiches were dry, the fruit was better, but the smoothie was so bad I couldn’t finish it. Hopefully sometime in the near future a little more attention to detail will lead to a more pleasant experience. The atmosphere is very unique and interesting but it did seem a bit messy.

This restaurant is one of my favorites in Hattiesburg! Especially for people who are wanting to eat healthy! The service is great! I love interacting with the owner, Katie and the manager, Sahil. They know my order and start preparing my Rici as soon as I walk in! The cafe has space to do work while you eat or simply just enjoy a meal with your friends or family! I can’t recommend this place enough!

This is my favorite place to stop in MS and my favorite chef! Best refreshing place for a healthy snack or meal. Fun atmosphere and quality service. There’s no place like the bird house! And no one like Katie!! I just wish she’d open one in Brookhaven! :))) everything has so much detail! Katie makes a mean sandwich! And best PB cups!!!

I ended up finding this place on one of the travel sites for Hattiesburg. I looked at the menu and figured I’d give it a try while I was in town. I highly recommend everyone to check this little cafe out. They had the best chocolate zucchini muffins I’ve ever had and their smoothie bowls were excellent. My friend ended up getting a wrap and it turned out pretty good. It’s not your typical cafe, since this little spot is hidden in a furniture store, but it’s cozy. Keep your eyes open though because you’ll definitely miss the driveway at least once if you aren’t paying attention.

I ordered the chai pudding topped with fruit. Forgot the name. It was a bit dry, and the pudding wasn’t cold. My daughter ordered a smoothie bowl with fruit (hold the peanut butter). It was VERY VERY good. The fruit smothie part was cold and fresh, the fruit was ripe and fresh.

The best place in Hattiesburg. The energy of the staff is something else!! The food is amazing, I wanted to try everything. I ordered açaí Bowl one day and it was Delicious. My daughter loved it too. The owner is beautiful inside and out and has a lot of energy and talent. I had a great time and look forward to going back.

I stopped here before making a long drive home and I do not regret it. The young ladies who welcomed me were kind and worked quickly. I ordered The Far East Bowl and didn’t expect to receive such a large portion of food for less than $11. I was shocked. The food was tasty and the space was clean. If you are ever in Hattiesburg, please please stop by!

If you’re looking for Vegan options, look no further, the BIRDHOUSE CAFE IS YOUR SPOT!!!! Nice environment, friendly, and quick!!!!! The Risi Pici Smoothie bowl IS A MUST, as well as the avocado toast & the Curry in a Hury that my BF tried. It was my first time but MOST DEFINITELY WONT BE MY LAST!!!!!!!!
