Gluten free choices! I have celiac disease so I was delighted! We tried the fried chicken with homemade mashed potatoes, white gravy, and sweet carrots. The CRUNCHY chicken was fresh hot out of the fryer! It was a lot of chicken. 2 white pieces, two dark, and a wing. My husband and I both ate it and still had 2 pieces to take home. GF truffle fries! Generous portion here too. We also tried the deviled eggs combo. 2 of each type: fried chicken on half and fried oysters on the others. Plenty to share. One disappointment was the filet mignon skewers surprisingly. They had the slightest hint of fish flavor at the end, almost like they had been grilled in the same spot as some fish. The service was wonderful, as was the atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Excellent braised short rib! Everyone loved what they ordered and the atmosphere is very comfortably upscale. Most of the menu is gluten free which is what brought me to the bistro in the first place. Did not disappoint and I will be back.

It’s a very nice place with nice staff. The food however is okay. The deviled eggs with the fried chicken is good but it wasn’t much seasoning on the egg part. The fried chicken was okay the skin was flavorful but the actual chicken wasn’t. The chicken wasn’t dry though. I liked the green beans and potatoes. My complaint: I took some of the chicken home and turns out, the chicken was raw in the middle.

I can’t help but return to this place every week. They have the BEST fried chicken I have ever eaten! Now I always order the fried chicken with double mash (because I don’t like carrots for veggies, but I always ask in case it changes up). It’s a nice local restaurant, you can dress casually or upscale (business casual is always safe) – it’s up to you. Outdoor and indoor dining, great atmosphere either way.
