Had dinner here 3/16/16. We decided on this place to meet family from out of town because of previous gatherings there we enjoyed. This time I was shocked at how bad service and food was. Our server was not friendly at all. We had been there 10 min, no one came by for a drink order, but he shows up ready to take our food orders. He seemed very put out to even be there. The whole atmosphere is different, and staff seemed unhappy and just going through the motions. Chicken was dry, prime rib lacked flavor, and bill was tossed on table as he walked by. Just very disappointed, and will be taking our business elsewhere.

Always had a good steak here without the pretentiousness that affects the strip steakhouses. Meat is high quality well prepared and tasty. Staff are efficient and friendly and the ambience is charming. Cant understand why they wont do Lobster Bisque anymore, explanation didn’t make sense. You wont be sorry you went here.

Horrible – don’t waste your time. We visited with our family and were treated horribly. The food was uneatable. My first “medium” prime rib came out well done; their next attempt was 3/4 fat and blood running on the plate. Horrible experience and then they called security on us because we were upset with the food and service. We had one beer with dinner as we had our kids with us just on a one night stop to CA.

I had ordered the steak medallion oscar, and it was cold and raw in the center. Our waiter took it back and the next one was just as bad. My son’s ribs were horrible and we sent those back. The waiter acter as if it was not a big deal and we never saw a manager. Our bad food was not comped either.

Billy Bob’s still does a pretty good job with everything. We have been going there for years. The quality of the beef doesn’t seem to be quite as good as it was a few years ago…especially the filet but it’s on par with most all the other steak houses in Vegas. Most people that have problems there are dragging their kids with them, don’t have any money to spend in the casino, really don’t have any money much to spend anywhere and come in with an attitude. Then they sit there and fight with their kids and complain about everything then later feel empowered somehow by getting on here and giving the place a one star.

The hostess was extremely nice and the bus boy was helpful..other than that, we wasted $80 on 2 overcooked fillets, old crab meat, and asparagus which wasn’t even cooked. Reported our concerns to the manager who was friendly, but it was still a waste of time and money.

Went to Billy Bob’s tonight to celebrate our anniversary and was totally disappointed yet again. The service was slow, we waited over a half an hour after placing our order which was not cooked as ordered as well as the vegetables being cold. This is the 3rd time we have received rotten service. Used to be our favorite steakhouse but we will no longer set foot in the place again.

The hostess must of had a bad day. She was not friendly at all. The food is average, I’ve had better food around Vegas. The service is slow. We had to ask for the check 3 times. I will not be going back.

7/23/16. Too bad this place is closing. Some suit must have thought that was a good idea. The new place Angry Butcher sounds too upscale for the clientele and locals have already abandoned the place. RIP Billy Bob’s.
