Overall it is good! If you are able to make it for happy hour, highly recommend for Happy 5 Salmon or Tuna Nigiri. They are really good! Unfortunately they don’t have draft beer.

It’s very welcoming as the chef and servers are kind and attentive! Not a fancy type of place, but they offer bar seating and tables.

Billy Beach is my go to sushi place. It is a little pricey but I really love the staff and how laid back the atmosphere is. Your food comes out pretty quickly and it always tastes amazing. I’m a big fan of their tataki

Wow another sushi restaurant I can add to my list of favorite sushi places I’ve been to. When walking inside I was impressed how nice the restaurant looked. We were quickly seated and luckily made it before I got busy on a Friday night. Some of us got the cider and it was pretty good as I had a hint of pineapple taste to it. We ordered the sushi and while it did take a while for it to come to the table probably because it was a busy day the food looked amazing and tasted delicious. I think my favorite is the super bad boy but everybody enjoyed their own sushi and was priced great for happy hour. Don’t know any other places that you can get the quality of sushi for such a price and each sushi piece was large and filling. I would definitely come back and recommend this to anyone who loves sushi!

Absolutely phenomenal sushi spot in Ballard. I ended up going three times during my stay in Seattle. I tried two other sushi bars and they didn’t even come close (one was just up the street). The fish selection was great and very fresh, the rolls were inventive and exceptionally tasty and the service was top notch all around – the sushi chefs, the serving staff and especially the management. Thanks so much for an excellent experience – all three times!

Regarding sushi in the Ballard neighborhood, there are few options, let alone good ones. Billy Beach Sushi & Bar stands tall above the rest. The food was excellent, and it is one of the few restaurants I’ve been to in Seattle that offers pressed oshi-zushi. The quality of the fish was high, and the portions were large, which justified the prices for me. The meal’s highlight was the amaebi and the expertly battered fried heads. I will return here whenever I’m in the neighborhood and looking for quality sushi.

Convenient location just off of Market and Leary with lots of street parking. Super clean and modern interior and decor with both table and sushi bar seating. A good spot for yourself or a large group. TVs in both the bar and dining room visible from most tables. Full bar including sake, beer, wine, and liquor. The Happy Hour menu is great and available every day from open until peak dinner time. We loved everything we ordered from the HH menu and our rolls were good, however my “One Eyed Ninja” roll didn’t quite meet my expectations. The servers were very nice and attentive. Overall a good sushi spot that is on par with others in the area.
