Very busy on Sunday afternoon, but service and food were both top notch. Enjoyed the shrimp and fish Mexican style and it was really good. Just the right amount of spiciness. Key lime pie for dessert was the perfect finish to the meal.

While I am typically not a reviewer, today is an exception. I just ate lunch at Laguna Madre which was extremely packed. As usual, the food was outstanding. The reason for my text today is the young man behind the counter by the name of Marcus. Even though the line was several people deep, he was being very professional and moving them through in a friendly and kind matter. It is hard to find good people like this today.

The food was okay but nothing to write home about. The lady in the drive thru was being very impatient when I was ordering my food. I could hear her breathing deeply and sighing. She didn’t know that was my first time coming to this restaurant and I wasn’t familiar with the menu. However, when I got up to the window, her whole attitude has changed. She was actually polite when she asked for me to park and wait because there were a few other customers ahead of me.

We use to go to the old Barnacle Bill’s and loved it. We’ve moved to Kerrville in the meantime so our first visit to Laguna Madre. We split a two piece fish and chips and it was both plentiful and delicious. Now get one up in Kerrville.

Ordered the shrimp tacos and the corn tortillas were so stale I could not eat them. I tried and it was like chewing leather. The person making the tacos should have been able to tell they were so stiff, but they chose to serve it anyway.

Went drive thru for some dinner and ordered a couple of combos and asked with no coleslaw and came with Cole slaw ordered extra tarter sauce and Paid for it and not a single tarter sauce in sight was robbed.. Now a common practice among restaurants going drive thru Lunch experience is awesome as I work close to there but dinner experience was horrible and they need a better drive thru person the.young lady was rude. But my.mistake for thinking that the bill millers service would be the same here..
