In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas.

We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. Please check, maybe triple check that your unsweet tea is free of cleaning products! I got an unsweet tea this morning and it tasted like bleach!! Not the first time either. Could make people very sick!

Took our order twice…Only ordered a bucket of tea and 2 large teas. When we got to the window, they tried to give us another order. I told them it wasn’t my order they went to the back and brought out another order that wasn’t ours. Then, when our simple order was brought out, we paid and left to have tasted our teas, and it was old nasty tea. We then got home to hope our tea in the bucket was maybe from a different batch and it was not….it was also nasty!

went there Wednesday (7/19) and Friday (7/21). Wednesday, I asked for a lean brisket po’boy sammich and sweet iced tea. I expected to see perfectly sliced brisket but I got a sammich of chopped fat, and unsweetened tea (blasphemy!). And Friday, I ordered the same thing but extra lean on the brisket cause I was hoping that would have saved the sammich. Nope, my sammich was still a chopped up fat and other parts of the meat… But, I still got my sweet tea so that was good.

14 min to get 1 taco is ridiculous! Girls there had zero sense of urgency for Morning rush. I got off with only 4 ppl waiting already for their food. After they gave the food to the guy in back of me, told them I got skipped, all girl said was…oh sorry and finally got my 1 taco. I like the food but wouldn’t recommend going their in the mornings.

Stopped by 05-25-21 8:30pm Dinning Room was open, I placed my order on their new self serve kiosk register, which was surprisingly very easy to use. Even getting close to closing time their food was just as hot and fresh tasting as always. Restraunt was spotless ie, tables, floors, windows etc. Still one of the Best Barbecue Restaurant in this area.

The ice water that was served to me I placed in my to-go cup. It tasted like bleach. Probably from the cleaning of the ice bin and not rinsing it properly. I ordered a sandwich and the server asked what side would I like with it. I was given what appeared to be a sample of slaw. Turns out it was a $2.50 added charge for that sampler.
