In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas.
We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. I was going to order more than what I did I hesitated because all the food didn’t look to fresh to began with so their were 2 managers on duty and the food still looked bad and the gurl serving the food was totally clueless and served the smallest portions u could think of like if she purposely looked for small pieces of chicken I had ordered hashbrowns and she put very little in the portion cup then I took them back cause they were super hard like dried out from the heat then I asked yo change to rice and again small potion and the grains were hard and my husband ordered the stuffing as a side and this mess in the picture is what they said they had so I asked for a fresh portion waited 15 mins or so and the Manger brought me what is in the picture and said that’s the way it comes u could smell the burned crust on it and u could taste it and they forgot the gravy I had to go ask for it .I was appalled at the comment because I’ve never known their stuffing to be this flat and burnered at that we waited 15 mins and he brought out exactly what was already sitting their and tells us it supposed to be like that. hey ket going and signing off in books and checking this and that but I don’t see how he couldnt or they couldn’t see how bad the food looked I get it was a little slow but it still was 2 to 3 hours before they closed and they already had stuff put up like like it getting ready to close .Bill Millers has gone down tremendously food wise and service wise .One of the mangers looked like he was bothered and unapproachable and the other who told me this is the way its supposed is the one who brought the same stuff I had asked them to fix so I didn’t even bother to complain .All the food was the same .

Breakfast time. Pancakes nice and fluffy. Bar with grape jelly, strawberry jam, salsa and butter. Breakfast platter a little bit of everything with refried beans. Bacon crispy and tasty.

I paid for my order through the drive thru at 9:04 am, no cars in front of me. I ordered a bill Miller breakfast the way it comes and the pancakes w/syrup. It took TWENTY minutes. They asked me to pull forward, so I did. I thought they had honestly forgotten about me I had so many cars come and go between that time. Finally bring my order to the car and don’t even apologize for the wait? They did put 2 brownies in the package I found out once I got home (which I do not care for). Then I open up the tortillas to make a taco and I’m met with a hard cracked burnt tortilla. Food is cold. Sausage looks like it’s barely been cooked. I will NEVER come back to this location again. It’s near my mothers house but I’ll make sure not to come to this one, waste of my money.

Normally I don’t do reviews bc I also work in the kitchen and I know what it’s like to have customers just want free food. But this bill millers never fails by far the best one in town. Come in at least once a week and it’s better every time. Shout out management but especially the cooks. Great team work.

AWFUL!!! Choose another place. We were suppose to get a double order of ribs. The sides were small. They did not get the order correct. They just wrapped two bones in foil and gave us that. Always check your stuff before pulling off from the Drive-Thru. They did not taste good either. Just a mess. Bill Miller need to get some things together. For Sure!

The chicken was bland, no seasoning and mostly crust . No breasts and mainly fatty pieces in the family pack meal . The fries were crispy but I will never get the family pack again I will stick with the tenders if I do go back. This was the lemon meringue pie. Like it was just thrown in the bag
