FYI they charge a fee to pay with a card, I ordered a mega nacho that could feed 4 people, waiter didn’t say a word, place was empty but my friend ran out of drink. Once he left food he didn’t come back. Food was mediocre will not return.

Pretty much a disappointment. Staff were nice and helpful but food was a cut above Taco Bell. Complementary chips and salsa were terrible. Chips were extremely thin and the salsa was spaghetti sauce. Wife and I both ordered the steak taco salad and it came out quicker then we ordered it. Not sure why it was assembled backwards. Lettuce should be on the bottom then meat sauce and then the toppings. Strips of meat were overcooked and too large to eat easily, if the protein was on top I would have know that I need to cut it instead of jabbing around like I was jigging flounder.

Just had a great dinner here tonight. My only disappointment was that I haven’t been to this place sooner! Service was fast and friendly. The food came out quickly and everything tasted fresh and delicious. I had the chicken street tacos, and I loved how authentic they tasted. My husband had the molcajete, and from what I tasted, it was equally delicious. Portion sizes were generous. I really enjoyed that this place has their own flavor profile and didn’t taste like every other Mexican restaurant in the area. We will definitely be returning!

Ok the food is ok not the best or the worse Mexican I have had in Pensacola. The cheese enchiladas and way the chewy and bland. The shrimp fajitas are good. But it’s a bit over priced for what you get. And then the check comes and there is a charge for $1.40 for using a card for purchase. That no where is posted. Just on the ticket if it’s cash it’s 1.40 less and if it’s a card it’s this amount. So this is what was ordered 2 cokes $7.00

I’ve only been here once so I may have just had an off experience. The place seemed relatively busy, so I’m kind of surprised that my experience was so poor. While the server was excellent, overall, my experience was a major disappointment and I found the food to be extremely overpriced. There was hair in our queso appetizer ($8.99) which the server did replace. In addition, I ordered a stuffed baked potato which was ($12.99) greasy and the potato was old and brown I was so looking forward to trying out BigOtes, but I doubt I will ever go back.
