Good things take time and some work. BBQ is just like that. We opened Bigfoot BBQ in 2003 with two goals in mind; great scratch made food and friendly down home service… looking back at those goals, we have had real success. We have made a lot of friends along the way and that is very important to us. Up times, down times, and even on a few sideways times we come back to it, turn the lights on, load the smokers and wait for friends to come in. That’s the simple idea that is important to us. I haven’t eaten here in 5 years. It’s still great food. The prices did go up. My Plate #1, drink, and tax was $24. It was filling. They do have specials. It’s a nice place to sit and relax. Clean-open seating. I do miss the free peanuts.

Overall good and worth going. Hard to find. They need more and better signage. They are in a little inside mall on the bottom floor. You’ll think it’s only clothes down there but nope they are tucked on one side. They do the best they can with the area they have.

Mostly pulled pork, beef, and chicken. I shave tried the fish instead. Expected to have the full bbq experience , like brisket, half chicken, ribs, etc. Nice place to hang out with friends, very secluded basement location.

I entered looking for a chopped BBQ sandwich. The lady offered the shredded beef sandwich which I ordered take-out. It was packaged as build it when you get where you’re going to eat it. Helpful staff welcomed me and showed me where to get BBQ sauce to go. My background, I’m born and raised Texan intimately familiar with Texas BBQ. The flavor is a good smoky beef without the charred ends I usually have with a chopped BBQ sandwich. Tasty house BBQ sauce, but if you like a spicy sauce, they have a wonderful spicy version also. Overall, a good BBQ experience in Flagstaff.

This is our second experience here. The staff are always polite and the food has been amazing both times. This time, I’ll admit we were a little needy.. I had ordered for my son and I to eat there. We also had to order for my daughter who couldn’t make it. They packaged everything individually so it wouldn’t get mushy. They wrapped the bun in foil.. it was just really packed with care – which I honestly feel is a rarity these days.

This little place is in the basement of a shopping center but don’t let that stop you. The atmosphere is unique and fitting for the area. You order at the counter and are given a license plate to take to your table that serves as your number. My husband and I shared the Double Wide. It came with pulled chicken, pulled pork, chopped beef, and dry rubbed ribs, 3 sides, 2 pieces of cornbread, and 2 drinks. Our 3 side choices were Mac and cheese, garlic Romano fries, and okra. The food was… Pretty ok. It looked amazing and there were a wide variety of barbecue sauces to try, but the meats themselves were pretty dry and unremarkable. The macaroni and cheese maybe wanted to be Mac and cheese when it grows up but it was mostly macaroni when we had it. The fried okra and garlic Romano fries were very tasty!

Reviews were good so came here visiting from Phoenix. I don’t think it should be rated at a 4. Sandwiches were dry meat was dry. Fiancée his cold saw was dry. Sons chicken nuggets awesome and fries were pretty good. do you make dry cold saw? The staff super nice though. 100% satisfaction on that part. Atmosphere nice.. Although, little to our surprise it’s down stairs in a clothing store. Probably won’t come here again.
