Such a great find leaving trade day! The best service and the food was really really good! I had the homemade pintos and they did not disappoint. My husband had the fresh hand made burger and it was huge and delicious – I had to try it and can validate that it was some kind of good!

We gave this place a try based on the glowing reviews for their burgers. What a total let down. This place is located in the middle of no where and is just a small hole in the wall cafe. My wife and I both order the cheeseburgers, again based on the false reviews. When we got our burgers, the patty was a big blob of cold meat with cold cheese slice on top, chopped up onions and a cold stale bun. Apparently, they cook the patties in advance, refrigerate them and don’t bother to heat them up before serving them. If this wasn’t the worst burger that I’ve ever had, it’s a close second. Avoid this place with all the false reviews.

The server was fantastic, but the food was awful. We travel around a lot and this is one of the worst places for breakfast we’ve experienced. I know this is harsh, but we rely on reviews when we eat a places. Many have given positive reviews of Big Time Cafe and that is their experience and enjoyment of the food, but we didn’t feel that way about the taste of the food.

ROAD SIDE SHOP. Quick service! CUSTOMERS FRIENDLY AND COMFORTABLE. I was looking for a nice morning drive, breakfast with some friends… Experience! We just missed breakfast by 10 mins. 1st time guests… we were pretty excited to try their recommended breakfast… after 3 weeks of planning…and our 45-minute drive. We asked if they would consider giving us breakfast.. reluctantly they agreed and noted/told us.. the cook was not happy.. We expressed our thankfulness×3! Limited and rushed at what we could order… I did not get to order eggs.. for the rush, but the bacon onions and tomato were delicious. Not a fan of the very textured biscuits with dark gravy… Service…made for less of an enjoyable meal! I paid 10. Approx. With a 3 dollar tip.. Fair price… compared to rising costs else where. We were determined to enjoy our morning.. Not sure I would make the trip again… For Big time. But I had breakfast with a couple of good friends and Gracious Ladies! I was thrilled they had Peppermint Patty’s … that I love and was able to share ! People who serve all work week definitely Appreciate good service… Sometimes servants need to take a well deserved break! I pray your workers do take time to rest as we all need, there is a day of rest …! God Bless!

My husband had their catfish and French fries, he said they both were very good that he would order them again and I had the pinto bean plate that came with pinto beans, mashed potatoes,Cole slaw, and a slice of tomato.,this took me back home to my childhood days ,it was delicious.

This is our go to. Plenty to choose from for every meal. The burgers are amazing! When I’m on my way, I call just as I get into Fort Payne to place my order. By the time I get to the restaurant, they are setting my order on the counter. Can’t beat that. All of the staff are straightforward and want to ensure you are satisfied.

When I tell you this is a hidden gem, listen to me. We got 2 “small” Bacon Cheeseburgers, and we had to smash them down and we hurt ourselves trying to eat the whole thing… but we did, and then split the BBQ plate because we figured the burgers would be small. It was so good we couldn’t stop eating. If we were locals, we’d be 500 lbs. Plus, they basically give you a jug of tea when you order it. We got 2 appetizers, 2 burgers, and a BBQ plate AND 2 slices of pie and didn’t spend over 40$. Our only complaint was that we don’t have one closer to home!

Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. It’s a tidy little place with lots of down home atmosphere and the food is amazingly delicious. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area.

Sit down and waited twenty minutes getting ignored while they waited on regulars they knew that came in after us . Finally got up and left without ever speaking to a waitress . The place right up the road from it has great service ,good food, decent prices .
