Rip off… For the price you expect catfish filets. Nope. Tiny strips of catfish. Wife’s brisket sandwich had less meat than a gas station BBQ sandwich. Mac and cheese was watery and flavorless. Also, we came in before the dinner rush and were the only ones in there, and the waitresses were all standing around, yet no one bothered to sweep the floor that was covered COMPLETELY in peanut shells.

We had a party of 18. The tables were set up when we arrived. The food was great, service was wonderful considering the crowd. I didn’t get a picture of the onion rings but they are awesome. I got the pork ribs, tender fall off the bone & my husband got all you can eat catfish & shrimp.

Found this place when we were driving down the road, killing time, and saw so many cars in the parking lot at lunch time…figured it had to be good. Did a U turn and pulled in. The popularity is well earned. The place has a great atmosphere and the food did all the talking. Best catfish we have ever had and the BBQ was so flavorful. The side dishes were just as amazing. The great service was just the cherry on top of an already great experience. Worth the drive from any direction…

Really enjoyed my visit to Big Smith’s! You get that great BBQ smoke smell as soon as you get out of the truck. It’s a little out of town but worth the drive. The service was excellent and the food was very good and served quickly. I’ll definitely be back!

Fish sucks it’s greasy and over done making it too hard to chew the fried zucchini was actually fried pickles (big difference) and wasn’t cooked all the way through. Waitress is always super sweet love her to death. My bf is 1 hell of a cook. Maybe he needs to show them how to cook…

Went there 525/23 @ 5:30 P.M. ,weren’t busy at all got seated right away but then it was like “musical hostess/waitess” wasn’t very attentive to us had to call her a couple times to get her to refill or order,I had all you can eat ribs and the first order was great 3 very nice tender and tasty,BUT……after that they were not much meat alot… alot of fat …dry….tough…..very upset with that my friend had chicken fried steak and it look very very well done the gray was so thick it was a big blob on the spoon…IDk that I’ll be any hurry to go throw away that kinda of money again on that.
