This restaurant used to be really good. I haven’t been in about a year, but after last night I won’t be going back. We all went out for my birthday dinner and had a table for 5:30. We were the only ones ordering at that time. We ordered 3 salads and a salmon dish, no appetizers. The salads were wilted with no dressing, the rice in the salmon dish wasn’t cooked, and the food took almost an hour…for a few salads. Waitress seemed new and barely acknowledged us when she came by, the bill took forever to be picked up, etc. I could go on and on but the bottom line is this place isn’t what it used to be and the owner should really watch the shop better and improve this poor excuse for a high end restaurant. Oh and the best part! It was over $110 for a salmon dish and 3 salads. HARD PASS.

I had the “Peri-Peri Deviled Eggs” “Mushroom Quiche w/Citrus Vinaigrette on my lovely House Salad ” And…Wait for it…”THE STICKY LAMB RIBS!!!” I told another Foodie Friend that this is going to be my “New Grocery Store!” Madame Dee, Lady Diana & The Patron thanks for making my Lunch a Fond Memory

The restaurant is beautiful, we went there around 3:30pm. Ordered drinks and appetizers. And honestly I will not go back there. We were so disappointed with the food I left that place hungry. The sticky lamb ribs were okay. The tomato soup was not restaurant quality. My mom ordered herb salmon medium. It was covered in herbs but no salt or pepper. No flavor with just a side of white rice and steamed peas. Again let me emphasize no flavor. My brother ordered peri peri chicken plate. The chicken was so dry. They had bottled peri peri sauce that gave it some flavor. But the chicken was very dry. I ordered bobotie burger medium. It was overcooked dry and no sauce the only thing giving that burger a little moisture is the egg yolk. I sent back my burger as it was dry and I had lost my appetite. We paid $120 for the food and it wasn’t all that. I would have rather eaten chipotle.

Dined there for Mother’s Day and my experience was not very good. Waited over an hour for our food and when it arrived English muffins were burnt. Website advertised French toast but it was not on the menu. Bagel and smoked salmon was but they didn’t have that either. Not a good experience with food or service.

This was an unexpected gem. The chef, owners, and wait staff all take an active interest in your dining experience. The food is prepared with great thought and care and is delivered by thoughtful and knowledgeable wait staff.
