Great food. I like the vinegar type sauce, but they didn’t have that. Their sauce was good though. Coleslaw was zesty and fresh. Great ol time service an dining room feel. I look forward to stopping in again next time we ride that way. Very nice staff. Gravel parking lot. Plenty of parking. Has a drive thru as well.

I really wanted this place to be good, but it wasn’t. I have not eaten here in about 10 years. Ordered a BBQ Pork plate. Slaw was good, Stew was ok, but used to be great. The chopped Pork. The Chopped Pork, was barley chopped and tastes like Dried Chicken. Did not have a Pork taste and seemed to have no seasoning. Pork was not good at all.

My parents and I decided to check this place out since we were in the mood for some BBQ. The food was great! I had the beef brisket and my Dad had the pork ribs. I loved their mac and cheese!!! The brisket was very lean and tender. Definitely worth driving a few miles off I85 to get some good southern hospitality and food at a fair price. All the employees were very friendly. Would eat here again if in the area.

Good food. Good service, just not always with a smile. They’re still busy, even during the pandemic. Their dining room is open again.

Service was short and they looked at me like I was dumb as hell for standing at the counter simply trying to order.

They offered “bottomless Brunswick stew” which I enjoyed. Decent place overall. Hole in the wall. Would recommend.

Food was good, wish the banana pudding was homemade but other than that everything was great.

Best thing about this “bbq” place is the sides. The meat is horrible. By far the worst “brisket” I have ever had. The chicken and ribs are moist on the outside and dry as hell in the middle, the exact opposite of good bbq. The so called brisket is literally just dried out burnt meat that they try to salvage by pour broth or something on it. It was 100% inedible. Shame.
