This is a total Diamond in the Rough. Everything we ordered was delightful. We were able to sample mini versions of their regular plate ribs, and again, my mind was blown. If you ever pass through, they have a daily buffet, and daily specials. Cannot wait to go back. Heads up, if you’re any type of Karen, just do us all a favor and go to Starbucks. These hardworking folks deserve all the credit for what they are doing.

This place is open for business! I was cycling by late in the afternoon yesterday, on my way to my campsite, and was so glad to see them there so I could pick up some dinner. First thing, they have awesome service. Hospitality is through the roof! Teresa is a sweetheart! She saw that I was hot and tired as I had been riding all day and offered me a cold bottled water for me while I decided what I want. Second thing, the food is spectacular! This was my first time having Texas boudin and it did not disappoint. The jalapeño boudin had just the right amount of kick but did not overpower the overall flavors. The brisket was also great as well, still soft and tender after reaching my campsite an hour later (couldn’t sit and eat because I had to reach campsite by nightfall). Big Mike knows what he is doing and the newly remodeled place looks awesome.
