My husband and I have been to Big Lees new restaurant 3 times already since it has opened and all three times the food and service has been amazing. The brisket, pulled pork and ribs are amazing. I was lucky enough to be able to have the Famous Wings that took down Bobby Flay and I was NOT disappointed, the cook on the wings and the blueberry sauce was perfection. We always leave so stuffed that we can’t eat another bite. The staff is always pleasant. Sure there may be a few kinks to work out at a new restaurant but so far they are killing it!

Just want to let everyone know how excited my family and I are to be first in line for the grand opening of Big Lee’s new brick and mortar location! We have been here since 7:24am and can’t wait to get this BBQ. I’m so happy for the Big Lee’s family to have this new spot! Super Excited!! Pics of the food and interior will come after we feast!! Food was exceptional as usual. Always a joy eating here. THANK YOU!!

If you are looking for some real deal BBQ Florida style, this is it. Not sure if it’s a Florida style but it’s the way my Granddad showed me how to smoke meat. A basic rub and smoke until tender and juicy, no sauce. The ribs are right on point with the perfect smoke flavor and juice. The brisket also had amazing smoke flavor and smooth soft chew. The sides again bring me to my grandparent’s house for a cook out. The collared greens are spot on my grandma’s greens, I know because she taught me to cook them. My wife said the mac n cheese was almost as good as hers, she said it, I did not, because my grandma and mother trained my wife to make my favorite side. This truck gave us fantastic flavor and a feeling from the past that was perfect for us.

Love the set up, it’s a cool looking place! I love how the pictures on the walls has all the smokers that have been used through the years, the banner of his win on food network. Food has amazing flavor! I wasn’t a fan of the cole slaw, but I’m picky on that anyways. Brisket was on point, flavor was amazing to say the least. Pulled pork, also amazing flavor. Mac n cheese, fried ocra, corn nuggets… so good!! Oh, and the sweet tea is excellent! They offer a sweet sauce and a tangy. They are both good, I liked the sweet the best. We’ll definitely be back. Worth every penny and the drive if you are not local.

First, but not the last time at Big Lee’s. The large smoked sausage was almost more than I could eat. It was outstanding! Wife had the regular brisket portion and was well satisfied with the amount. The brisket itself was also delicious.

All hype… no flavor. We ordered the large burnt end plate with 2 sides.. you get 6 pieces of meat. The mac and cheese was under cooked and had been sitting under a heat lamp for a minute. There was very little if any seasoning on the fried okra. Our “large” rib plate was another joke. You get 3-4 small under seasoned ribs, the baked beans came straight from the can and the coleslaw was dry and again with no seasoning. The 2 unmarked sauces they did have on the table were another disappointment. One tasted like straight ketchup and the other was a lightly seasoned mustard base. Save your money on this over priced under seasoned food and go to Mission BBQ or Artmans BBQ.

Went to try the place out with my husband and daughter. We ordered a small brisket plate that came with two sides and a roll. The reason we ordered one plate was to try it out first, that way if it was good we would order full meals. Man, was I happy we only ordered the one plate to try. The mac and cheese was served room temp at best and the brisket was a very small portion, dry, and didn’t seem fresh. The brisket at Brick City is 100 times better than what we had at Big Lee’s. Idk if it was because it was 6pm or what but if you can’t keep the protein fresh throughout the day something is wrong. The best part of the meal were the fries. What a let down.

Food was amazing. Everything is made fresh. Banana pudding was the bomb. The owner, Rashad, went around and spoke with all the customers. He’s so down to earth and humble. Highly recommend!

Wife and I ordered a large brisket plate with two sides so we could share. After waiting 25 minutes in the hot sun I asked to cancel my order and refund my 20.00. The girl said my order was ready so we accepted it. I opened the box and was surprised at the 2 forks of brisket. Not even enough for 1 forget sharing. Wife couldn’t stay and eat in the sun any longer so we went home. The coleslaw was soupy and the bread was completely soaked in brisket fat. My pic shows my order. Loaded with fat and shredded not sliced. First time and last time. BTW….every customer was solicited for a tip.

Really wanted to like this place SPITE the reviews as it is “#2 BBQ in State of FL”, i am honestly baffled at how they managed to acquire said title.
