Finally made it to Big Ken’s Bar-B-Q and I must say the rib tps are delicious. I was a little leary about them being smoked but the flavor and seasoning are on point. I noticed the building in the back with smoke billowing out from the pits.

I had some chicken wings too but they was so good they didn’t make cut to show BIG KEN’S Bar-B-Q corn was so soft and juicy and that barbecue sauce was so good I was eating bread with it lol They so was fast and has great service. I will be going back!

This was my first time trying this place. I can honestly say that I’m kinda impressed. I ordered a slab of ribs and a strawberry raspberry lemonade. My order was done in about 10 mins. My order came up to about $40 after taxes and the tip. The only problem I had was the fact that the young lady that was taking orders was talking on her phone in front of customers. She was very polite, but she did leave a customer standing because she was distracted by her conversation. I will return because the food is good.

This is a close family establishment, they created a family atmosphere that after one visit i felt like a long lost cousin. Kudos to great food/great service at great prices! Until next time family, I’ll be back!!!

I came all the way from Florida and the food was on point. Who ever grilling that chicken needs a raise. Those half of chickens are juicy and seasoned to perfection. Also got a 50 piece wing it was $1 Wing Wednesday my kids loved them we will be back on Friday before we hit the road.

I just wanted to make you aware Ken, that my family and I was supporting you every week when you had tents on 8 & Gratiot. Then one Sarurday I convinced two other friends that you had the best bbq in the area. So I stood in that very long line and purchased 2 slabs, corn, and strawberry lemonade for $60+ for my friends and myself. I drove back to Clinton Twp only to find containers full of burned meat! I immediately messaged you on Fb and explained. You apologized and said you’d replace it. (((I still have our messages in my phone!))) Because I had to go to work, I didn’t come until the following weekend. When I told you who I was and why I was there, you just looked at me and said I’ll talk to you. I stood there about 20 minutes while you did a few things. I moved closer so you could see me and I signaled you, I thought you could’ve forgotten about me. Once again, you looked at me and kept on keeping on. After about 15 more minutes, I signaled you again, like hey did you forget about me? Still no response or effort. I left. I said lesson learned to never spend another dollar with your business. Well when you moved into your brick and mortar, I figured you’d be professional since you’d want to bring in even more business, I was wrong! Please don’t think that I’m just trying to get a free meal, I wouldn’t accept it if you did offer. But I’m a huge fan of ribs. I have many posts and pics of ribs that I traveled to the Westside and even all the way Downriver just to get. I thought your business would forever be our rib spot since it was closer to us. I gave you 3 stars because up until the burnt ribs, your ribs, corn & lemonade had been the best!
