I ordered a 16 in Ham and cheese, no onions. It was clearly wrote out on the ticket. 1-2 inches on each end had nothing on it. No mayo, no meat, no cheese, just bread. After the 1 onch of bread, it had once slice of ham. My sandwhich also had extra onions when it clearly stated no onions on the ticket.

Best steak subs in Michigan and the red sauce is out of this world; has a hint a heat but not at all hot. Ordered the 8” steak and cheese sub Which had a generous portion of steak and it has a generous portion of steak. This Big John’s has a restroom as several others don’t and was also very clean! A must try!!

The food is always great here. What I don’t like is pulling up to this location and 2 employees are outside the door smoking in uniform. I get it you want to smoke- go to your car. Having to walk through cigarette smoke to get food is ridiculous. We are in Davison not a trashy area so let’s get it together! Maybe it was shift change. I’m not sure. It just don’t look good seeing that.

This place is extremely racist. I can’t believe the experience I just had. Im sitting in front of the restaurant leaving this review. Im very upset. I walk in, and 4 employees are standing at the counter looking at me as though they were disgusted. None of them said hello. I said, “hi I have an order for Dwayne.” The guy said, “9.95 or whatever my total was.” I gave him a $20 bill, he gave me $13 back. I guess my blackness had him nervous causing him to miscount. I got my food picked up my cup and began to fill it with pop. A white guy walked in and every employee that was standing at the counter welcomed him inside with SMILES ON THEIR previously disgusted faces. This is really sad and I hate that this happened to me. I’ve never accused anyone of being racist in my life but I don’t know what else could’ve been their problem. I pulled up in front in a Cadillac, my hair is cut, I’m dressed really nicely, I don’t look like a thug, I don’t look dangerous. I look like a normal guy. Im not overweight; or super tall, or super short, im 5’11. Just a normal guy and they couldn’t even bother to say hello or have a good day. The dark color of my skin was the only thing that they could’ve been bothered by. Never again and I hope all African Americans stay away from this establishment.

This place is awesome – their 8 inch steak, cheese, and mushrooms is definitely a meal. I have had a few cheese steak sandwiches in my life and these are some of the best. Service was on par with everybody else that is sub shop has. Their sauce is unique but really good. I would recommend stopping by and trying one…

Every time I go here to this location and I want a true Philly Cheesesteak and I tell them I want extra cheese. I want the cheese cooked into the steak with the onions and mushrooms like they do back home in New York. Every time it’s dry steak with four little pieces of cheese on the bottom of the bun. I’m just disappointed. Every other location makes it like home but this one. Even if you tell them you’re willing to pay extra.

Fast and friendly employees. My sub was great and very tasty. There is little room for seating, but they do have a few booths and tables on the inside. Conveniently located near i69, this was a nice place to stop for lunch.
