Cool experience! The place is like a throw back from the Dukes of Hazard. The food is great and local law enforcement like eating there, so you don’t have to worry about some idiot getting out of hand. It makes for a neat tourist stop.

I have had a lot of barbecue in my life from a lot of different places and states. Big Jakes BBQ is the best BBQ in Louisiana and the best barbecue I’ve had. The ribs are the best you will find as well as the brisket and bbq chicken. Stop by and give it a try. You won’t regret it.

I love the sausage, brisket & chicken very moist and flavorful. Bake beans are my favorite. I hate that they only have garlic bread which is saturated in butter but overall the food is always fresh and the people are friendly. The potato salad seems to be store bought but it is still great with the meal.

Great BBQ, music playing was a little too loud, ice tea tastes old, baked beans are awesome. Great staff! One of my favorite places in this area. I’m glad their back!
