A truly unique dining experience. What used to be a Coast Guard ship is now a one of a kind restaurant. The servers were attentive and polite. They truly appreciated you the fare is a variety of seafood items on the menu, including fish and chips, fish sandwiches, and other seafood items.

I’ve been on the fence about writing reviews, and sharing my favorite place with the world, ha! But I’m no longer gate keeping. This is a GEM. Food, atmosphere, service. So special! So unique. The owner has poured his heart into every corner of this place. Be sure to ask about the histoty! Owners art work on the walls, too! So cool. My family and I love you Big Fish!

We walked over to this place after needing some more substantial gluten free options after a party- what a lucky accident! Gluten free halibut fish and chips!!!! These were amazing! Some of the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. From the vegetables to the rice to the pecan crusted halibut – it was all very good.

We just had dinner there for the second time this year. Again it was FABULOUS. It’s classy yet comfortable atmosphere and the food – from the delicious appetizer plate to the entree was cooked perfectly. It was a treat from beginning to end. The service was beyond great too. We highly recommend it and look forward to our next trip to REEDSPORT.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this quaint, former Coast Guard Cutter. The friendly staff gave us some history of the boat and a quick tour. The food was outstanding and our waitress was beyond wonderful. We will definitely come back next time we’re in the area.
