Big Fin Poké is a family owned local business began in Westbrook, Maine. In total, our family has more than 30 years of kitchen and restaurant experience and an everlasting love for cooking and different cuisines. We found our love for poké through our Hawaiian friends from the islands, it was by all accounts the first poke restaurant in Maine. We are so excited to bring this new food trend to Maine. We opened our first store in 2016, right on Main Street in Westbrook which moved to Rock Row in 2021!

I’ve been to Big Fin Poké several times and absolutely love their Hawaiian Poké bowl. Whoever is behind the counter is always friendly. Ingredients are always fresh. They make everything fresh right in front you. A fantastic experience everytime. Music and the ambiance is very relaxing. Plenty of indoor seating.

If you want a poke bowl, this is an excellent choice! Was really pleased with the quality and flavor, and the portion sizes are huge! We ordered one of the house specialities (Hawaiian) and make your own bowl, large, and actually had more fish than we could eat. Depending on your hunger level, I would consider getting regular size bowl. Super delicious and can’t wait to go back!

My 1st try at this type of Asian flare & wasn’t sure what to order. I chose “build your own” poke. I chose tuna & salmon. I wasn’t planning on eating it immediately, but the sticker urged me to sit & eat. I LOVED it & will return.

Quick service and a reasonable price. My tummy has been sensitive to raw fish in the past, but I’ve never had an issue with the Spicy Tuna Bowl or Hawaiian bowl. They also have Allagash White and Sapporo if you dine in!

Big Fin Poke is a Hawaiian inspired restaurant with two locations in Maine and one location in Massachusetts. We visited the location in Westbrook, Maine. If you don’t know what Poke is, Poke is diced raw fish served either as an appetizer or a main course and is one of the main dishes of Native Hawaiian cuisine. Many places offer cooked protein options like steak, chicken or shrimp so you don’t have to eat raw fish. They have build your own bowls or pre made bowls with drinks and soups to add on. We like eating at poke places and some are better than others but this is one of those places that are better than the others. Good portions, lots of variety, reasonably priced and friendly staff in an open and inviting atmosphere. This location does not have indoor seating so everything is to go at the moment but they do have two tables outside for some outdoor seating options at least. Westbrook is lucky to have such a gem in their part of town so if you haven’t had them before I would suggest trying then out!
