Big E has some of the best and unique burgers in Minnesota. All of the burgers have egg in them and it really adds to the flavor. I ordered the Rocket Man (beef and bacon) and the C.R.E.A.M. (Smoked salmon and cream cheese). The Rocket man is a house special and I can see why with its savory goodness. I think the C.R.E.A.M. Might be my future go to. I loved the smoked salmon combo with sliced boiled eggs.

Love the atmosphere and very kind workers! Both ample indoor seating and a few patio tables. I tried the CREAM, which is a take on a classic lox bagel. Smoked salmon, eggs, capers, etc.

Great crew, service and food. Glad we have something like this in MN. Sandwich’s were flavorful, and uniquely original. Had the Yoshimi and the somebody to love. Vibe is cool, has some seating and will get them to go in the future as well. Have already sent many friends texts saying to check them out

We each enjoyed an egg sandwich, a specialty coffee, and shared the fries. All sandwiches were good. The fries were exceptional. Service was friendly and helpful.

Been waiting to hear there and made the time this morning. I had the C.R.E.A.M. sandwich and it was fresh and amazing. The everything bun was soft and fluffy, the caper cream cheese was tasty and the lox was perfect. It was not busy which worries me a little because it was a great experience! Easy parking should make it easy to make it your next breakfast option!

Recently stopped by for some ice cream at grand old creamery but got more than we bargained for after we decided to try Big E. We ordered the “it was all a dream”, “California love,” and split some fries. The fries were perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside fluffy on the inside with amazing flavor. The California love was fresh and full of flavor, but I was blown away by the “it was all a dream.” The steak on the sandwich was cooked to order and extremely tender. It melted in your mouth and, most importantly, was easy to eat without the sandwich completely falling apart. The grape jam really puts the flavor over the top. 10/10 would recommend.

Big E has only been open a month, and I will try it again at some point because it has promise. First visit, however, was nothing more than okay. The Rocketman is a great sandwich, but my egg was cooked solid (not over easy), and this took a key part of the sandwich equation entirely out of play; not enough people were working and it took 25 minutes for two sandwiches to come out on a Saturday morning; fries were fine but nothing special; the space is not designed to linger–which is no problem–but if you are going to run a stripped-down, elevated sandwich joint, the food needs to get out faster. A lot of people have complained about the prices, but they did not seem unreasonable given the quality of the ingredients; those ingredients just needed to be treated with more care.

The food was really good. I had the Rocket Man the curry ketchup on the burger really made the burger shine. Their fries are also really good. Plus you can next-door to the Grand Old Creamery for a scoop for dessert.

We’ve been here twice now and really want to keep returning – but the prices will significantly limit how much we come back. We wanted a place like this in the neighborhood – something different than what’s already there, not a chain.
