Saw this place on Texas Country Reporter and had to stop while we’re visiting. Yummy! Fresh, perfectly spiced cracklins. Delicious original boudin link. Excellent crawfish hand pie. I got a slow burn in my belly from the egg rolls, but so worth it! Don’t miss this truck! There was a steady stream of take-out while we were eating.

Big Doobie’s cracklins are THE BEST in the Golden Triangle area. Heck I’ll even say, his are the best I have ever eaten, and I order cracklins where ever they’re available. If you’re not from this area and want some good cracklins, Big Doobie’s is where you’ll find them.

What can I say, the name already says it. The cracklings are outstanding, so much so, I’ve had to make a conscious effort to limit myself lol. The boudoin balls are also a great choice, and they have a seating area next to the trailer if you’d rather eat there while your food is nice and hot.

Been twice in the past month wouldn’t recommend. My first time the boudian balls were greasy, as I watched the person warmed them up by pulling them in the grease for a few seconds. I tried to give them another chance by getting a boudian and crackings. The boudian was so SOGGY skin & all! Mushy on the insides, wouldn’t recommend! Couldn’t take a picture I was so disgusted.
