Let me preface this review with the fact that I have eaten at countless BBQ restaurants and consider it one of my favorite places to eat, especially in Texas and Oklahoma. With that said, this place had by the hands down the best brisket I have ever had and I will definitely be back. I stumbled upon this place by chance, having a friend that lives nearby. It was both of our first visit, and prices were reasonable and the wait was reasonable. It was not very busy.

Restaurant was clean. Service was good. My wife and I both had sliced brisket, plus I had pulled pork. Barbecue and sides were just average, but good. If you are craving a good, quick barbecue meal, this place will satisfy your craving.

The experience wasn’t very good overall. The ordering experience was a bit confusing because we didn’t know that the menus were printed and located on the counter as opposed to the large sign on top of the counter. The person that took our order wasn’t very friendly and it almost felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there. They were completely out of all BBQ sauces other than spicy. Lastly it was a bit awkward because the music was playing at a very low volume and then it suddenly ended. Meaning that the entire restaurant was in complete silence and you could literally hear people from other tables chewing.

The best thing going for this place is how close it is to my house and that the pepole were friendly. Price was about average for BBQ although I wasn’t crazy about having to pay $4 extra for ribs on my 3 meat plate. Otherwise I was not impressed. The rub on the ribs wasn’t that great and I could hardly taste it. I like salt but the brisket rub had so much in it I almost couldn’t eat it. Personally I hated the BBQ sauce, way WAY too much vinegar for my taste. The tea containers need a good scrubbing with bleach because it tasted aweful like it had been sitting out 2 days and spoiled. The jalapeño sausage was the best thing I ate, but I can buy that from Costco and cook it myself. Overall I probably won’t be back unless someone else has a BBQ craving and needs a quick fix. Friendly service only goes so far when you consider the price of BBQ.

We tried Big Daddy’s last night for the first time and I had to share how impressed I was. We had ham, turkey and brisket and they were all delicious. My turkey did not even need any BBQ sauce. It was so moist! My son is a sauce freak. He used his mine and my little one’s and said it was delicious.

Stopped into Big Daddy’s on the way to Little Elm Beach today (which is right across the street) for a little something to eat. I ordered just a chopped Brisket sandwich and a soft drink. $8.00 and some change, which I felt was reasonable. OMG! It was AMAZING! Best I”ve ever had! It was juicy and flavorful and didn’t even need BBQ sauce, but I put a little on there any way. I might become addicted to this little delight every time I’m on my way to Little Elm Beach. Thought the restaurant was cute also, serves beer and wine. I must add, there was a sign that said free coffee today. The sign looked old, so they might give free coffee everyday!

I went there at lunch, and oh boy let me tell you about it. I got a two meat plate and a drink that totaled up to $18. When I mentioned to the owner that “it seemed pricey, especially for lunch” he told me to go down the street and eat lunch at taco delight. What a turd. The funny thing is I actually did that, and that there were actually people inside of taco delight, unlike the overpriced barbecue joint. Don’t waste your time.

Wow. Is the only word I had when I tried this food, and not in a good way. This Bland, dry, excuse called “brisket” is the worst I’ve ever had. Sausage was edible. Mac and cheese was dry and clumpy, beans were just as uneventful as most of the plate. My wife got a sandwich with a bun of this piece of half *#$$@ toasted bread. Thin white bread isn’t made to put 1/4 of brisket on. It won’t hold. If you guys need someone who knows flavor and has experience working a pit feel free to let me know.

Completely ridiculous. We decided to order dinner from here tonight. Not knowing it was going to waste our time. We placed our order online. Sent it to the store and waited 20 minutes then headed to go pick it up. I got to the store to pick up my order only to find out that my order hasn’t been started yet. The lady then tells me that’s they don’t have all the food that we ordered to complete my order. She was rude and upset with the fact that I placed this order so close to closing time. I placed the order at 7 and they closed at 9. In my eyes, you have one job and that’s to prepare food. We ended up having to cancel the order. They’re lose. Our order was over $100. We will take our money elsewhere and suggest y’all do the same. We won’t ever be back.
