First time visiting this local eatery located in West Brownsville. Friendly staff, clean lively atmosphere and delicious foods. Although the place is small, this restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves 5+ stars! My wife and I enjoyed an early dinner for under forty dollars, including appetizer and drink. I highly recommend this restaurant, hats off the cooks, the chiriqueso is to die for, especially when eaten with the warm and soft corn tortillas. The tostada is big enough for 2 people and the complimentary chips and salsa just rounds up the meal very nicely.

Omg!! This place is hands down the best breakfast!! Food was on point!! Restaurant very clean and has a chill vibe!! Our waiter James was the best!! Very friendly and attentive!!! I would recommend Big Daddy’s for breakfast!!!

I ordered a fajita taco with tortilla de harina, which I liked. The Tampequenia plate looked delicious. The salsa wasn’t spicy. I’ll be back for another visit, I was on a tight/rushed schedule and didn’t really enjoy and savor my meal.

My family and I arrived at 5:50 and we got our drinks and appetizer fast but we ended up waiting almost an hour for our food. The salad was okay and my husband said it was a really good burger. Our waiter was great and checked up on us.

First time here, I have to say atmosphere setting was “WOW”. I totally came here simply because we were in the area for work and wanted to try something new. We saw the ratings and the pictures and everything seemed fine and very delicious. When we came in the lady at the desk greeted us and was very polite… Our waitress however wasn’t at all welcoming (seemed rushed) there was like 4-5 servers and only like 5 tables. Our banana shakes were good I definitely enjoyed those but then our glasses of water had a funny taste so we changed those for the “Natural lemonade” (asked the guy who brought us our food because our server never checked up) which again the flavor was there but that aftertaste was still as horrible and instead of being a refreshing drink we were trying to not have to drink as much to deal with it since our server wouldn’t come to check up and our shake glasses were still at the table. Only thing in my actual plate I enjoyed was maybe the egg with added salt and black pepper and that huge flour tortilla! The bacon was great. The crispy tortillas with cheese or whatever were overloaded with cheese and dry stuck on the plate the menudo would be better if they had limes and Chile on the side. Everything was clean but service sucks and I can say just about the same for the food.
