Hands-down the best American BBQ restaurant in Columbia! The brisket sandwich was very tender and the sauce was tasty. The rib tip sandwich wasn’t the best, but I liked how the portion size was larger than the bun. The side of okra was fresh as they fry it on the spot. Lastly, I had come in roughly 45 minutes before they unexpectedly closed due to it being the holiday season. However, the entire staff welcomed me in and all of them had huge smiles.

Everything smelled incredible! They were out of a few things (potatoes and burnt ends) but the portion sizes are plenty for leftovers the next day! The ladies serving the BBQ are real sweethearts, make sure to give them a smile and hello next time you’re in!

Goodness! The BBQ, BBQ sauce, brisket, green beans, Mac and cheese, and candied yams! Oh my stars! So so delicious! Fabulous food! The staff was SO friendly, and the atmosphere was fun! I’m so glad we stopped by for dinner on our road trip! Don’t hesitate to try it! Go now!

Quite an interesting setup once you walk in – stand in line, see the menu options on the board, order and then pay, and sit down to wait for the food. There is a sign on the clear divider when ordering that the prices are incorrect due to inflation.

We had a wonderful first time experience today at Big Daddy’s BBQ. The owners were super friendly and helped us select what to order. Some in our party were older and the ladies serving food were very patient and kind with them. I had the pulled pork sandwich a with a side of mac and cheese. Both were delicious. Their sweet tea is some of the best I’ve had. I look forward to returning.

Have been here a couple of times. People are friendly and service is good. The food is not up to my expectations of a bbq place. Brisket is more similar to roast beef than smoked brisket (thin slices, no bark, not much flavor), ribs dont really show much sign or flavor of being smoked and come served out of a sauce bath. Pulled pork was good. If you are not a fan of a very sweet BBQ sauce, you might be disappointed as there is only one type of sauce, and it’s very sweet.
