The best chicken sandwich in town

I came here to see if this place was worth the hype. The place is super clean and the layout is very nice. I ordered the Uncle Jerome sandwich and some seasoned fries. They have a good variety of sauces you can choose from and for drinks they have a phenomenal peach tea with bits of peach in it.

First time trying Big Chicken and we’ll definitely be back. Hubs got the spicy chicken sandwich (he loved it) and I shared popcorn chicken with my little guy. The fries are so good – they’re like a thin version of steak fries. The thin cut helps them get to be the right amount of crispy. The popcorn chicken was very good – Tried the sweet BBQ & Mustard sauces with them, both very tasty. Also tried the Mac n Cheese. Kinda bland, even with the cheez-it topping, but probably meant to be that way to appeal to the kiddos. Finally, they have a Pineapple Cream Soda as a fountain drink option. Highly recommend trying it, wasn’t overly sweet at all. We sat outside on the shady side of the patio and the misters kept us cool & comfy. Music was kind-of battling with the neighboring business, but overall a great experience.

It’s good food. Great customer service. That peach tea with pieces of peaches was absolutely delicious. I don’t like tea but I could drink that by the gallon. Kind of pricey. $38 dollars for 2 kids chicken Popcorn meals and chicken sandwich with dirty fries and a drink. Great atmosphere. Has a bar for adults to get drinks. Has out door patio seating as well as to go options. Parking is around the corner but not far.

I heard a lot of great things about Big Chicken since (Shaquille O’Neal) name is all over it, So I was looking forward to checking this place out! Overall beautiful establishment and very welcoming. Service was quick and attentive. The portions are generous and good value for money, BUT The flavor of the fried chicken was lacking tremendously!! It wasn’t bad, just not amazing…The Seasoning could’ve been better, And The Chicken Batter tasted like corn meal? Despite that! the chicken was fully cooked. I hate to say it but I would prefer Monroe’s Hot Chicken over Big Chicken. If you’re ever in the area of Gilbert, AZ Go ahead and give it shot, Just don’t expect much!!

Overpriced for portion size and mediocre flavor. Nashville sandwich wasn’t even hot, but plenty of grittyness. Popcorn chicken was dry, and with that, the kid would not eat it. The buffalo chicken was probably the best, and that’s not saying much because you can’t really mess up the sandwich. The only issue was that the chicken was sliding off the bun. The banana ice cream sandwich barely had any flavor of what it was supposed to be and ended up tasting like a sugar cookie. The cashier was nice, and she was attentive. The manager, on the other hand, had a non chalant attitude especially with issue we ended up having.

So hyped to go here as I went to the Vegas location. Most items for sale are not publicized the proper way in store. Look online at all the different types of chicken sandwiches before ordering. The Vegas location had a whole sauce bar only 3 here. I personally sat outside which was comfortable just watching people walk by. All in all i would love to see improvements if I’m going to be driving from Phoenix.

I wish I could give this place a 5-star, but the chicken flavor just wasn’t good enough. Although the cut of chicken was high quality. The staff however were amazingly, kind, social, and accommodating. The atmosphere and decorations were really nice as well.
