This is the third time I’ve stopped in and I always love the atmosphere! The staff is super friendly and the drinks are good! I’m not a beer drinker and I love that they have other options! I got the cherry almond smoothie sour and the raspberry creamsicle seltzer and they were so good! The smoothie is kind of filling too!

Always a nice little spot to stop and grab a fresh pint of dankness. These guys make IPA’s with big bold hops, and fresh fruity finish and Vapor Lake is no exception. Smells like crushed barley, but the taste hits the sides of your tongue and let’s that bitter hoppy resinous stank saturate your salivary glands. It has a more than hazy look in the glass, and never settles. That means it keeps all that delicious stankness in the beer . Around the 7 pct range means eat with, have one, or the dizzies may change my plans for the evening. Cheers guys, another hit! “How I’d do beer, as soon as I get around to it.” Lucas.

Fun little brewery in downtown Nisswa. Service was a bit slow but it was very early in the day. (Took over 5 minutes for the bartender to make a flight for the folks in front of me). Id be worried if they are that slow at peak times.

Let me start with the fact that normally I give small family businesses a great review, but not today. So disappointed, I have lived here most of my life waited on most of the people who work there at my own place of business. I WILL never eat there again. Service started out snotty from the manager inside. I understand that we were close to kitchen closing time, but we still had 10 minutes and we ordered simple items a cheeseburger and a pulled pork sandwich. Meals a 10 year old can make. Took close to 20 minutes and our food was thrown on the table. No silverware, no water, we found our own ketchup and napkins from another table. The food was awful, cold fries, underdone, grey lifeless burger I wouldn’t feed a dog . When I brought the burger in to let them know it was inedible, they just shrugged their shoulders, took the burger from me and walked away. No concern for customers at all, as a local person who literally sees thousands of people go through my door I will actively discourage anyone going through there I have better service from the local Wendy’s. Though I will give their beer and root beer top quality was hard to enjoy with how bad rest of meal was. Not worth the 60 dollars spent. Further update. Normally most businesses reach out after receiving a negative review. I have not heard anything from the owners of the business at all and have heard from many other locals that my experience is not unusual as many of them have had similar experiences. My advice support other local business as we have many and I am sure you can get a better experience elsewhere.

I live in the land of breweries and microbrew (colorado)… so we’ve tried a LOT! While visiting the area we heard the best beer around is at Big Axe, so after our turtle race we walked that way.

Excellent quality beer and selection. Nice patio and ambiance. The reason for the 3 star review was that the service was terrible. We sat for over 10 minutes before I had to go find a server. Once our order was taken, it took another 20 minutes to get drinks. I actually had to go to the bar and get our beers (which by the time I got them, were partially warm because they were sitting so long). The bartender appeared to be keeping up, but the servers were not. Perhaps they were short staffed, but what really teed me off was when I witnessed our server sitting down for a meal without first bringing us ours and our drinks. Everyone is entitled to a break, but I felt this was ridiculous, particularly when I had to get our own beers, had to ask multiple times for all of our drinks (no kids drinks came), and ask for salad dressing (none came with the salad). Overall, the beer and food were excellent, but the service was lacking significantly.

I’m not sure if this is a typical day for them, but it took 10 minutes before we were helped (they offer table service) and almost 40 minutes to get our food. It’s a brewery, so we ordered a flight, which they brought after they finally brought our food. We’re both vegetarians, and they gave me a veggie burger but my husband meat patty. When we asked if we could still have the veggie patty, they brought it back out with bacon on the burger. Their saving grace is that their beer is actually good. The cheese curds were pretty greasy, more like cheesy funnel cake. Not sure if we just caught them at a busy time, or if they’re simply understaffed. At the very least, they comped my husband’s burger and apologized.

We enjoy going here enough that we recently bought the art pint glasses. Unbeknownst to us, as it wasn’t noted on the box nor were we told when we bought them, they are NOT dishwasher safe. After one wash two of them are ruined. We have other brewery pint glasses and this hasn’t been an issue before. Disappointing!

Wow. That’s the only thing I can say, excellent experience. Friendly staff. Great selection. Even the root beer they brew on site is fantastic. I had an excellent meal for a fair price, and it paired well with my beverages. I would highly suggest going here to enjoy a meal even if craft beer isn’t your thing
