A very healthy & clean food choice. There are variety of options you could choose from. Every ingredients are fresh and neat. As açaí bowl taste quite similar, I think there’s no special about there food. But their decorations are crafty, slight abstract and cute. Great place to hang out with your gym buddies! Not a great place for parking, but walkable distance from ISU campus, and state gym.

Can healthy food be so delicious? At Big Acai, yes. My first time having sorbet Acai bowl and it was delicious. Portions are surprisingly big so I couldn’t finish the big bowl size. Would definitely come again

I come here mostly on the weekends to grab a quick breakfast, and the food is always spectacular. Unfortunately, good food does not come with good service. The customer service at this location is bewildering. Always sitting on the counter tops on their phones if there is no service, horrible attitudes, no greetings, this location doesn’t open till later hours but the employees always seem they’ve just woken up at 10am, and there’s a plastic barrier blocking lids from customers already making it difficult to get a to-go bowl. I could stand there for 3 minutes waiting for someone to grab a lid for me. I don’t know how many times I had to walk out with an open bowl. Good food, horrible service.

Big Açaí is a place for you to enjoy and nourish your body with real good food like açaí bowl, smoked salmon toast, and nutty almost chicken toast. Definitely a 5 star for great staff and amazing service.

Edit- customer service is usually not up to par with the food. They open at 10am usually so I’d expect them to be a little more lively but they barely say anything, never a good morning or the usual have a good day… You know, the usual of what customer service is. They always just have a bitter attitude.

Staff was helpful; I had mentioned I had never eaten here and he explained how it worked. Tuesdays are free topping days, guess I picked a good day. Fast and very delicious! A lot of variety for everyone.

I hit up the mobile food truck when it was im Marshalltown. Wasn’t overly hungry but wanted to try them out. I ordered the coffee smoothie. It acually kept me full until my normal dinner time. Was very tasty and loved munching on the coffee grounds. I want to try a bowl next!
