My friend and I both got the loaded baked potato, and this might be over exaggerating because we had been outside hiking all morning, but they were the best we’d ever had. My parents both got the bbq sandwiches and got the nod of approval from my dad who’s a full on Texas bbq connoisseur. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch while in Creede. Plus the views from the picnic tables allow you to enjoy the scenery.

Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. They offer sandwiches, ribs, brisket, potato dishes and much more. I am partial to the Edna sandwich (some of the best chicken salad ever!) The people who run it are very sweet and geniune. A must try for those visiting Creede during the warmer months.

Big 6 is a barbecue stand on the corner of Main & Highway 149. Very casual. There’s no indoor dining room: eat at the several picnic tables under big cottonwood trees, or carry out. We ate there twice on a recent visit to Creede. The chicken was good, though unexceptional. The beef brisket and pulled pork were very, very tasty. Service was fast and friendly.

This place was great, I had the chopped brisket which was extremely juicy and the sausage which was tasty as well, we would definitely recommend this place if your in Creede.

Outstanding! It’s so amazing to have this caliber of BBQ waiting in town for you when you get out of the mountains. The ribs were excellent!
