Oh my! My husband got a Facebook post today saying we had been here about a year ago. He said make reservations let’s go. To my amazement today was the day they reopened and Oh my God did we have a wonderful time. For advertisers we had the pot stickers and they melted in your mouth. My husband had the salmonAnd I had the chang mai noodles homemade and they were delicious. We set the bar and our service was wonderful our drinks were wonderful. If you’ve been here before please come back and if you’ve never been here please come it’s an experience that you won’t forget.

Delicious Thai food and restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. Quaint space with additional seating outside and reasonable prices. Will definitely return!

Good Thai restaurant in Memphis area. We had Chang Mai noodles and loved them. Food tastes really good here. The disadvantage is that this restaurant opens only in the evenings in the weekend. The napkins were lil dirty, when we asked them to change they did, but the washed ones were dirty too. It would be better if they can use disposable napkins.

The food was FANTASTIC!!! I had the Salmon Panang…Grilled fresh filet of salmon topped with a special panang curry sauce. This dish is served over wilted spinach and topped with shrimp and bell pepper. I would have given them 5 stars but the salmon was a little overcooked. Also, no bell peppers but the sweet peas was a great substitute. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the dish and I agreed with the 5 she informed me of (range of 1-10) as it related to how spicy the dish was.

Really good Thai food. Give this place a try if you are in the area. If you aren’t… Take an Uber, it’s worth it.

Visited this place for a second try. My visit was a few weeks ago. The food was good and rear patio nice but service was lackluster. This I enjoyed good food and great service. I ordered the chicken masaman and the tum kha soup with chicken. Very pleased!

Other then finding parking this place is a midtown gem! We joined some friends for dinner around 6pm on a Saturday night and got seated very quickly. They have a large and kind staff that turn the tables over very efficiently. Our waitress was very kind and had a great sense of humor. We ordered the tofu green curry and raviolis- they were spectacular. With just the right amount of spice and at the perfect temperature, the owners put such detail all the way down serving platter. The aesthetic was just right as well… we sat inside in the middle of the room. Normally we wouldn’t like being in such a high traffic area, but it didn’t bother us at all. I’d recommend one of their craft cocktails, they’re strong and tasty! We will be coming back here again for dates, hangouts, and with people who want to try something a little different.

One entrée and one appetizer was pretty good/great, the other one was bad. I think the cook forgot to add any sort of spice to the entree. They took it back for me and added more spice, but it still wasn’t that great, and tasted like vegetables in dishwater. The cocktails were fair. I enjoyed it, but would probably not come back to Bhan Thai.

I heard this was best Thai in Memphis. I’m not a Thai food expert but i found my Pad Thai lacking compared to any Thai food I have eaten in multiple cities recently. It was kind of in a bland red sauce. Was not spicy at all. Requested medium. Chicken was kind of chewy. The bartender was pretty slow. Not very good service. I excited to order a signature drink “Molly’s margaritas” because margarita is one of my favorite drinks. It wasn’t good at all. Also thought it was weird they had no chop sticks. They said people don’t use chopsticks in Thailand. That’s like a pizza place telling customers Americans don’t use forks for pizza and not carrying them.

All around, this is a very good place to eat. The atmosphere is nice and the patio view is great on a cool day. The food was high quality. I will say, though, that the appetizers are a little bit high priced for what you get (quantity wise, quality is perfect). The Entree I was a great mix of color, texture and flavor (don’t forget that signature Thai spice!)
