I used to go come here 40 years ago when I was a student at semo. The bar was the same, which I LOVED!!.The bartender was so helpful, and the service was great. I was a little disappointed in the food, though. The potato skins which are “famous” came with cold cheese and cold bacon bits on top..not too great. I had the french dip, and the meat was smoked and tasted weird in a french dip. I was expecting more for $17, so it was just ok

This place was so cute, I loved the decor and overall feel of the dining room. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. I’ve seen reviews on the prices being to high, I’ve been all over the United States, the prices are average no higher than most popular restaurants, not to mention if you eat fast food you’re going to spend at least $10+ per person. Here typical $20 pet person. However, here you’re getting a much better quality food as well as service than other places. The potato skins are huge I ordered 4 for 2 people we only ate 1 each and were almost full. I would definitely go here again and again when in the area

1st impression – clean, fresh, inviting atmosphere. Seating comfortable, friendly staff. Ordered vegetable wrap with their fries and their chili, marinated over night(yummy), with loaded baked potatoes. Great food and excellent service.

We got our ticket and was charged too much and they had to fix it my chicken breast was very dry it was grilled chicken. Breast mac and cheese was dry the best part of the meal for both me and my fiance was the potato skins

I love BG’s, it’s one of my favorite spots in Cape. One of my favorite items on the menu is the potato skins. This place never disappoints, the food is always fresh and tasty. They remodeled the space a couple years ago and it looks amazing. Definitely check this place out if you are in the Cape area.

Service was the best…friendly, attentive waitress (thumbs up to Kalli). The potato skins were also top-notch – fresh and piled high with bacon and cheese. The fried food, unfortunately, was awful. Super greasy saturated and a bit burnt tasting. Maybe a new cook? Such excellent service, will try again another time.

My wife and I are in from Fort Carson. I’m originally from the area and I have had BGs before the remodel. My friend joined us for lunch here and the service was not good at all. The waitress was nice but she was nowhere to be found throughout the whole meal. There were only 4 other tables in the whole restaurant and there was another waitress and a hostess on the floor with her. I don’t know how she could’ve been overwhelmed. The food was sub-par. The potato skins used to be huge and not as pricy. But this time around they were small and the skins were burnt. We were going to tell the waitress just so she was aware (we weren’t mad, it happens) but she never came to check in until she brought our food and the check. My friend got a chicken Swiss and the chicken was seasoned very well and it was juicy but the toppings were so bland. My wife got a tiny chicken caesar salad that was nearly $20! My wrap was the same way!

Personally, my past few experiences here have been nice. Employees are amazing and very welcoming. The restaurant has been clean enough for a comfortable environment. The food? Certainly delicious in my opinion, especially that French dip sandwich that I could even admit beats the one at Arby’s.
