Great overall experience. We were up in the area on a random winter weekend so got to experience Beyond the sea during the off season. It was not busy which was great for us as they gave us the five star treatment. When we arrived they sat us immediately and had great drink specials. I highly recommend the espresso martini. The appetizers and main course were both delicious along with great overall service. It is a bit expensive but well worth it in my opinion. Look forward to going back in the future.

Phenomenal!! Have been coming to LG/BL for a couple decades and have been going to Beyond the Sea every year since they opened. The food is the best in town, and I have been to all of the restaurants, old and new. The service is stellar, attentive, not overbearing, GREAT experience.

I got a referral to try this place from Nick at the Inn at Lake George. I told him I was looking for a good burger and this place did not disappoint. It’s not too far of a drive from Lake George and the bartender Jason was incredible kind and really went out of the way to make my birthday dinner special. Key lime pie is amazing as well. Would definitely visit this place again!

Our experience at the restaurant was OK. The $60 sea bass was extremely salty and slightly undercooked, and the skin was left on but jelly-like so had to be pushed to the side. I’ve had much better preparations of sea bass and this was the most $ I ever paid. The sauces here were all fantastic, and the fresh mozzarella cheese appetizer was incredibly good. The steak tartar wasn’t prepared well, instead of finely diced steak it was turned into ground beef mix, like meatloaf mix, had a slightly grey hue and the taste/texture was not great. Again, we have had much better preparations of steak tartar elsewhere. The lobster tail on the lobster ravioli was also undercooked and had that translucent look instead of white and not tasty. We wanted to love this restaurant but just didn’t have a great overall taste/texture experience with the food for the price point, it was hit or miss depending on the dish.

The food here was amazing. The steak was perfectly cooked, the mashed potatoes were perfectly seasoned. I tried their Lobster Bisque and Lobster Ravioli was amazing! This place if pricey but worth it, I would recommend. This drinks on the other hand had no sugar in them, other than that it was a 10/10 for the meals. The best restaurant around this area!

Tonight was our first time at Beyond the Sea; my husband and I had a great time. The ambience was prefect for date night, the staff was friendly, the service was quick but not rushed, and the food was delicious. The night was expensive, but well worth it. We each had an appetizer: I had the night’s special of baja shrimp wantons and my husband had the pork belly appetizer; both were fabulous. The shrimp dish was light and refreshing – the perfect appetizer. The owner stopped by our table to see how we liked the shrimp appetizer because it was something new, and I thought that was nice. For dinner, I had the sea bass and my husband had the sirloin. My favorite part of the sea bass was the chunk of crab meat on top (lol). Both meals were perfectly proportioned; we both finished our meals and left feeling full, but not over stuffed.
