Small laid back place with kind of a small menu, but man everything on it is phenomenal! My main regret is not getting more photos and not eating enough! The service was great as well. Definitely a must eat place if you’re looking for good southern cooking In a nice relaxed environment. Makes you feel like you just left granny’s house after a Sunday family supper!

What wonderfully delightful bistro! I have been here a few times now and I truly enjoy the food and taste. The service is great, the food is excellent, and portions are perfect. Betty Lou’s is not a large place and depending on when you get there you may have a small wait. Everytime I’ve been there you can expect your food to come out a lil slower than expected but it’s cooked to order and worth the wait! Apps come out fairly quickly. The fried food is excellent, seared scallops amazing, she crab is yummmmmmmmmy! I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do, I’ll definitely be back.

A cute place with great atmosphere!! Discovered on google search. The fried brussel sprouts were sublime! Service was great with a reasonable time for food prepartion. The small plate was a good meal size. Fried seafood was very lightly breaded.

Cute – hidden gem kinda place with really good food. We had a party of 6 so we got this huge table in the middle of the restaurant, which was neat!

I absolutely never leave reviews for businesses but I felt completely disrespected by this restaurant and felt the need to write a review for other parents with young children. My husband and I are local, we live in Sheiveling plantation and have always thought this Bistro looked charming. We recently just had a baby, he is 3 months old and great for restaurant trips. My mom was in town and I wanted to take her somewhere close by but still nice. As anyone with a baby knows you do not have much time before they stir or wake up from a nap. We called to make a reservation on a Thursday afternoon, no response. With that being said, we made sure that the baby was fed and asleep and made the 5 minute drive down the road. When we got there we walked to the hostess as there were multiple open tables around and were told to “hold on.” No greeting whatsoever. I was holding my son, in his car seat. The hostess did not seat us and we stood in the doorway for 6 minutes as she went to talk to other customers, deliver drinks etc. all the while I’m still holding my son in his heavy car seat by the front door with open tables surrounding me. It is obvious this restaurant t is not child friendly or willing to be accommodating to families with babies. I will absolutely never recommend this restaurant to anyone in our area as I felt very shamed for bringing a baby.

This was my first time dinning at the restaurant. I was impressed a little. I got there around 11:32AM. The environment was clean. The female server was super friendly and professional. The food was tasty and hot. I will try them again at a different time to see if they are consistent. Thanks

Everything was fantastic! I had the shrimp and flounder platter, it was delicious. The hushpuppies were some of the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the burger and it was one of the best burgers, it has this sweet taste to it that just makes it perfect. We had the blueberry cobbler and chocolate lava cake for dessert and they were just as good as the dinner. We will for sure be back.

The food is consistently excellent. Great pork chop dish. Great burger. Good sized portions. Excellent and friendly service. Space can get a little loud, but a small price to pay for the quality of the food. A West Ashley gem.

Kind of a divey strip mall vibe, but the food was ON. The menu is not huge but literally everything looks fantastic.

Brussel sprouts are worth their weight in gold. Amazing food and atmosphere. Our waitress was super nice. Even after trying to make sure to avoid a food aversion, we had to send something back to the kitchen. We were sitting by the door and the cook in the back was complaining loud enough for me to hear it out front, in a manner I can only assume was berating her and was annoyed at us. Killed the mood, our birthday meals, and don’t plan to go back. I don’t like bullies and if you’re going to complain about the sandwich always having something on it, note it on the menu and don’t yell at your staff.
